The item came tossed in a box. The ceramic coating is in a plastic container with a screw on lid. It came tossed in the box with the lid open and no seal no additional packaging material. It was sitting exposed to the air. And it was already partially wet. I think it is supposed to come with a small amount of water content like a really thick mud then you water down after. If it is sealed from air it should not dry out. I was able to use mine it hadn’t dried too much yet so I did not return it. If it had sat much longer though it would’ve been unusable. The product is great. Protects your kawool and increases efficiency. I just think this particular seller is not very good a packaging. It is one of the fastest and cheapest sellers out there however. Such a shame they couldn’t just screw on the lid.

I use ITC's HT-100 to line the inside of forges and heat treating ovens. It works great. It strengthens ceramic wool, but can be applied to any suitable substrate (firebrick, mizzou, or other refractory) and reflects heat back into the space being heated. It is best applied with a sandblast nozzle, but can be brushed on. The mixture settles very quickly, so you need to keep it stirred if using a brush.

For such a small container of product that you get for 70CAD you'd think they would make sure that the lid was actually on. I haven't tried the product yet, but it's never a good feeling to wonder how much product you missed out on due to something so simple. You can see in my picture how the kid's threads are misaligned. Perhaps if they added more filler to the box it wouldn't get bounced around so much. Not sure if it was from delivery or manufacturing

Item was damaged and had dried up making it totally useless.
