I thought they were skipping from hitting bumps or something like that, but that wasn't the case
Our previous car DVD players started turning off at random times. At first, I thought they were skipping from hitting bumps or something like that, but that wasn't the case. Each time, the DVD would start at the beginning before the first menu like we had just put the DVD in. These have none of those problems. These work great for our long trips. I connect them to the vehicle audio so I can listen, too. The cords are just barely long enough to have one of the devices backward for a rear facing car seat in a crossover SUV.Pros:The mounts are fantastic and don't move at all. Even the three year old playing with them didn't pose a problem. The DVD is very secure and doesn't wobble. No scratches were made on any that we used. There are actual buttons on the DVD player so you can use it without the included remote. Our previous player required the remote to get past the menus.Media on an SD card will play through continually. No need to start the next movie, it will just keep playing. Great for long trips.Cons:The buttons don't light up when you press them. They are difficult to use in the dark. The cable to go from the DVD player to the slave monitor is pretty short. It did reach from the back of the drivers seat to the front of the back seat for the rear facing child, but just barely. This was in a mid size crossover SUV.The DVD player is somewhat difficult to open. The Eject / Open button may not release all the way or it may just be tight. Maybe it will loosen over time.Doesn't support some video formats. I was between this and another brand that could use basic DVD rips and forgot this one couldn't use them. You must make sure the resolution of digital media is less than 600. If you are ripping regular DVDs, this isn't a problem.

Great players, not keen on the mounts
Love that these have their own chargable batteries so that they don’t start the dvd over every single time I stop for gas or a bathroom break on long road trips! Doesn’t skip at all so far and I’ve had them installed in my van for about a month. My one issue with these are the mounting brackets. Right now I’m having to search for headrest mounts because of two issues with the mounts it comes with. 1. The mounts are across the headrest bars so the players hang a lower on the seat which is problematic for us because one screen is attatched to the back of a front seat and we removed the center row’s headrest so my older two kids can see it from the back row. Higher mounts would make it in a better position for them to see the screen without any obstruction. 2. Our second screen is positioned for our third child who is still rear facing and the low mount makes it extremely easy for the child to mess with. Our rear facing child has now messed with it so much that the bracket locking mechanism is becoming so weak that the whole screen will pop off in the middle of the car ride. If it weren’t for these issues with the mounts I would give it a 5 ⭐️ Rating. Love the actual DVD players, just wish it came with a different mounting system 😕

Pretty decent video player for the money, Screen broke 1 trip into it because of kicking.
Update!: Well my 2 year old completely Broke his Screen. it looks like another customer posted a video of how their screen broke. So basically at this point, we have 1 working DVD player, and one monitor that is useless with no way of buying a second monitor to replace the broken one. Well... note to buyers on this, glue a piece of plexiglass over the screen if you have a small car within reach of your child. Will save you a big waste of money. These TV's are pretty nice. The DVD player has this autoplay feature, which is helpful with kids in the car. DVD is inserted, then begins playing kindof deal, without having to go thru the menu system. The one negative here, is that the monitor does not have the same video quality as the one playing the DVD. Its noticeable enough to be slightly disappointed. The other psuedo-negative is that the DVD player is on the left side of the vehicle, and thats actually where my younger son is at, who will probably mess with the controls. My older son is on the right side, because he goes to school and you have to drop him off at the curb. So the product people should really allow either side or go wireless or something to take it up a notch. All told i think this will get us to grandma's house or any other location for that matter.

The screens are a good size, bright and have worked well with both ...
So this review will be in two parts. The first is to do with the DVD players. The screens are a good size, bright and have worked well with both dvds and with avi files on a usb. The remote control could be a bit more simple as it would generally be a child that uses it but it’s not so complicated that my 7 year old can use it. They come with the mounting brackets that are sturdy and simple to install and they come with different size blocks to fit any vehicle. For the money these were I’m very happy. I’m sure you could get better quality picture from other DVD players but probably not at this price point. Would buy again. The second part of the review is the process of buying and dealing the the company. Bought using prime and they arrived promptly. I noticed on installing that one of the screens was cracked, no big deal these things happen, and contacted the company. They answered within a few hours, we worked out a replacement and this too was shipped quickly.Would definitely recommend these if you are looking for dual screen DVD players at a relatively cheap price. Buying through amazon from CUTrip was easy and most importantly, when something went wrong they were helpful and resolved the issue quickly. I have received damaged goods before and have had a fight with retailers and it puts me off online shopping. When it goes like this I’m reminded why it’s so good.
