Great quality

Perfect open texture for healthy bonsai root development
I bought this bonsai focus mix to repot a bonsai tree that was ready for a soil refresh. The quality of this substrate is fantastic. Bonsai trees require incredibly precise drainage and aeration to prevent root rot, and this blend delivers exactly that. It has an excellent, open texture mixed with fine grit and peat that allows water to pass through freely whilst still retaining just the right amount of moisture for the roots. It doesn’t pack down tightly over time, which ensures the roots can breathe. PROS: • Highly aerated and open texture. • Perfect balance of drainage and slight moisture retention. • Ready to use straight from the bag. CONS: • NONE An excellent choice if you want to give your bonsai tree the correct soil structure it needs to thrive long-term.

Looks good for now
I was given a 7 year old bonsai tree for my 70th birthday. It needed re-potting so I bought this and some fertiliser of the same name. Delivered early, well packed, handled well whilst re-potting, and the tree has stayed put so far. As a re-potting mix, to does what it is supposed to do. Would recommend.

Excellent Bonsai soil, but this amount doesn't go very far....is there really three litres here...?

Better than I expected
I bought a couple of small Chinese Elms and wasn't happy with the lack of drainage in the soil, so bought some of this for repotting. It has a good mix of fine soil, sand and little stones, and my trees seem to have taken to it well. Would definitely buy and use again.

Va bene per le prime esperienze
E' un ottima miscela, è un po' costosa per i litri che offre, va benissimo per quando si è principianti e non si vuole rischiare di uccidere il nostro amico bonsai. La casa inglese growth technology fa generalmente buoni prodotti.

Un prodotto ottimo, terra specifica per piante bonsai per chi come me ne è appassionata. Prima di versarla all'interno del vaso e ripiantare il bonsai, occorre mescolarla.
