Very pleased, nice quality and gives off a really nice light, reliable dimming too without flickering.

Bulbs arrived next day, well packed in sturdy outside box and individual boxes with bubble wrap around each bulb within that. The bulbs look good with brass colour screw base (E27 size), glass that is well shaped and coloured without having an obvious plastic film over to achieve this ( like some others). The spiral LED filament is well supported with other wires looking suitably antique in style. In use these are *not* bright bulbs, but as a result you can see the led filament quite clearly (whereas brighter ones this would be less clear), so it gives again a good antique look. I had three bulbs in wall mounts around a small room and it still wasn’t particularly bright, so these are more “mood/effect” bulbs than strong lighting. The downside was that for one of the bulbs the glass is not well fixed to the metal base, noticed when I fitted and the glass can pivot on the base, so build / check quality can mayday be a bit suspect. In my case it looks ok and stays in place, so I will just use some clear glue to secure it rather than return it, but it let down an otherwise good product. The others that were secure seem to be a square fit on the bases. The good thing with LED bulbs is even if the glass seal is broken or is not fully secure, the bulb still works ok. No idea if they will achieve their claimed lifespan, only had them a few days, but all three still working so far (including the one with insecure glass). I would hope the lower brightness may mean a longer life, but we will see. So overall they look good if you are looking for effect rather than significant brightness, and you would need a few to achieve a decent illumination. I doubt these are 40w equivalent brightness, I would estimate maybe half that or so, so three together is maybe a 60w bulb equivalent if not even a bit less…. They are also quite warm in colour too, and the lower light level makes this feel even more so, but its a “cosy” light colour. Overall I liked them and would buy again but good if the manufacturer could improve their quality control a bit. That lost a star in rating, but otherwise would have given a 5 as they were what I was looking for re appearance and being able to see the filament.

Purchased before. A little pricey compared to others, but have lasted for a year or so in outside lights with no problem and creates a nice warm glow.

These look great with my new brass coloured ceiling fitting. The vintage look is fab.
