Advanced Build Quality Veritas Mk.II Honing System --

This has taken my sharpening of plane irons and chisels to the next level. Sturdy, easy to use and well made. Not cheap but if looked after properly you'll only ever need to buy it once.Edit: because the brass roller spends a lot of time in the honing slurry, before putting this tool away I give the roller bearings a good toot of WD40 to prevent fluid ingress and possible seizure.

Well made easy too follow instructions for a beginner like me gives me very sharp plane irons and chisels.I have tried other honing gadgets but this is by far the best on the market well worth the money I doubt I would by another

I was on the fence about buying one of these, and I’m so glad that I did buy it.It is definitely worth every penny and it’s so simple to useI now have very sharp chisels and can work so much easier.

The ultimate sharpening tool, I always turned my nose up at honing guides but after having used a work colleagues I bought one immediately. The results from this hone and a few good water stones are scary!!

I bought this as my existing guides were fairly hopeless.This is an expensive piece of kit but it does the job properly and if you want the blades on your chisels and planes to be set up correctly I would definitely recommend this.

Not what i hoped for, does,nt work as it should. Been a joiner for 30 years, gone back to doing it by hand and eye.

Great product, appalling price. At £142.00 it is at least twice the price of the kit anywhere else, look at A*minster Tools for example.Has the sellers made a genuine mistake or are they hoping for late-night shaky finger purchasers?
