Handy non-slip design with clever corners.
I'd probably give 4.5 stars if I could. I like this. It's textured base means it doesn't slip around on the table when the spoon is pushed against it. And the corners do exactly what they're designed to do and help little hands to use their spoon to coax out their cereal. In fact, if I ate cereal, I'd consider using one of these even as an adult it's so handy. The short chubby cutlery is also just right for little hands to learn to hold. I can't quite give five stars though, as it's pricey for what you're getting and really does have the look of a pet food bowl. The fish design on the side doesn't help with this. Overall I'm happy though.

Useful tool for weaning
Overall it's a good product. I just find the utensils slightly too wide but the length is perfect for a baby to hold to feed themselves

Worth investing in
This set has proved its value in the last few weeks. I wasn't 100% convinced from the online info as I could only find videos of children eating Cheerios from it so wasn't sure how it would perform with other foods. I've been pleasantly surprised and my daughter leapt forwards in her self-feeding confidence after using this set for just a few days. The spoon has very slightly discoloured but nowhere near as much as other makes, the bowl is still bright white and cleans beautifully. The bowl is grippy enough to stay put nicely and the shape is spot on, with stickier foods like mashed potato it still performs really well, obviously a bit tips over the side if it piles up too much but I've found this set so much cleaner and tidier to deal with. The bowl holds a good amount of food without being too large. On the whole I can really recommend this set as a way to help little ones master the art of self feeding and it has been really nice seeing my daughter go from frustration to an expert so quickly!

Fantastic trainer set but stains terribly
This is a brilliant dish when baby learns to feed him/herself. I bought it a bit early, but at about 14mths it came into its own - the shape of the bowl, the curved sides and the little cutlery really do make a difference. My only complaint is how the set stains. Anything like bolognese or casserole stains at least the blue rubber, often the white plastic if you don’t get to it in time. A dunk in a cold water steriliser sorts it out but, for the price, I expected better durability. That’s the only reason it doesn’t get five stars.

Top notch
My wife bought one of these after hearing good things about them, and I recently added another as it was the only one we ever seemed to use.Pros:It has a well designed lip which makes scooping things up easier - both for the little man himself and also for the parent feeding. It has a wide base that makes it difficult to tip up.It's easy to chuck in the dishwasher. The cutlery is easy to grab and the little man loves using it.Cons:It's pricey, there's no getting around that. But I think it's worth it.The bowl itself is white - which becomes discoloured with each spaghetti Bolognese it accommodates.Overall, top notch.

Good spoon
Not sure about the bowl. It is still way too big for the portions that we give our 1yr old. But the spoon actually works very well. My 1yr old intuitively held it to his mouth without much trouble and didn't make any mess either. The spoon seems to have just the right weight and size for him. The fork doesn't work as well though as it has rounded tips which makes it extremely difficult and messy to pick anything up with it.Very expensive too! But perhaps it is worth it just for the spoon. Hopefully the bowl will be good too, when we get to use it.

The bowl is great for cereal or stews etc and my son uses the curved corners to help get food onto his spoon. The spoon is a good size and as it is short it stops him from holding it at the end so he has more control to feed himself. Haven't used the fork yet. The bowl does stain a little if you have tomatoes etc but after a few washes it fades away. Would recommend the spoon and bowl as this has helped him develop his feeding skills.

Best product
I have used this set for my son who is 8 years old now and it did a great job to him self feeding back then. I have a 13 months old daughter now and I may say she feeds herself. The round shape of the spoon makes it much easier for the babies to find their mouth and thus they easily manage to train the right movements of the hand. The bowl really helps the little ones get the food - so really a great product. Ordered it now for a friend's baby.I am surprised some people expect that the set will learn their children how to feed themselves. It definitely takes time and some mess.
