My 5 year olds favourite!
My 5 year olds FAVOURITE dinosaur!! Looks really good and very good quality! We have loads of this make and my three boys have used them for years, they last well especially when they play with them in the bath!

Excellent as a toy or model
Quality moulding and well finished. Makes a great statement peice for a coffee table or desk for us big kids. The neck, tail and legs are all able to flex moderately to avoid damage if played with vigorously by actual children, whilst being more than rigid enough to maintain their form. As depicted, the painted finish is very good and accurate to the advertisement. A critical eye will notice minor tolerancing issues between the assembly of the neck, body and tail, most noticeable in the neck area. Too be expected in such a construction. It is less of a paleontological model and more of a Jurassic Park replica with reference to perspective. The front feet are wrong, though typical of most sauropod toys/models, the nostril placement is inline with the image made popular by JP but is now somewhat disputed and also there is some debate as to if this is a Giraffatitan as opposed to Brachiosaurus Brancai - I am no expert here, but to me it will always be Brachiosaurus. Suitable for both big and small enjoyers of dinosaurs!

Adult collector review of paleontological accuracy, manufacture, looks and general comments
Size: Usually manufactures scale down their sauropods (long necks) to a more manageable and marketable size, but not here. Impressively this model is scaled at 1:50 in line with other dinosaurs from the Schlicich / Safari / Collecta / Papo ranges (usually around 1:40 to 1:50), so it fits in perfectly and provides some serious dimension to any collection. £20 may seem like a lot to spend for a dinosaur model, but given the impressive hugeness of this beastie that simply dwarfs other models; it's a steal. Manufacture: Where the model is assembled from multiple parts there are some visible joins, as well as some slight colouring mismatching between sections - however these features are slight and do not greatly detract from the awesomeness of the model. Appearance: The skin texture is admirably detailed and complements the paint work; this is a subtle blending of greys that give a striking lifelike appearance - particularly in natural lighting. The choice of grey is typical for models of this sort, as a standalone model it is a little bland - however, among other dinosaurs where its sheer size is already fairly overpowering the addition of colour would serve only to draw attention away from the display as a whole. Durability: While I would argue the model would be shamefully wasted in child's toy box, it does appear as though it could sustain considerable punishment, being made from a tough polymer (plastic) and coated in durable spayed paint. Paleontological accuracy: There is some variation in fossils; some guess work and also some dispute on how the bones fit together - so some flexibility is permitted. Even so this is overall a very well-proportioned model; from the shoulders down its form and proportions are excellent. However, (and this is nit-picking) the neck should be straighter and angled a little more horizontally in line with modern thinking, not like the giraffe look of olde. That said the shape is feasible, perhaps the dinosaur is raising its head for a quick scan of its surroundings or to impress one its own before resuming its more natural angle? The head should be a lot smaller; these really were proportionally tiny in life. Uniquely among models of this kind the neck has been bulked out with supporting muscle mass as it approaches the body, this has greater feasibility than the thin snake of a neck usually modelled emerging only from the very top of the chest. All in all an excellent buy; well-done Papo!

A great addition to the collection.
This figurine is amazing. The detail is spot on. It has a good weight to it too. This is a huge figurine. I own the papo T-Rex and it towers above that. I highly recommend this product

Great
Very good but not quite as detailed as the picture shown and colours not quite the same. Overall a good dino for the collection.

Very large dino
Got this for my daughter. I really like the Papo models because I grew up with Jurassic Park and the design is aligned with those. This is very big and heavy so if that’s what you’re looking for it ticks the box. Very impressed as usual with the mold and paint work. An instant favourite with my kids.
