Excellent value for money and looks nice too. I first got one to light up a dark corner of my home office and it did a great job. In fact, I was so happy with it I tested it as an uplighter behind a large plant (c. 180cm) we have in an alcove in our dining room (alcove is about 1m wide and 3m high). It did that splendidly, lighting up much of the alcove without completely bathing it in light. The upshot is that we bought another two of these, and a new plant to put in the other alcove. (My wife now spends a lot more time in that room.) As for the aesthetics of the lamp it's obviously personal opinion but I think the black chrome ones look pretty good. In my case they're all tucked away so it really doesn't matter much, but if you're considering placing one somewhere that's going to be visible I'd say it's still worth trying it out. Hard to beat for the price. (We were considering having sconces put in in our alcoves, which would've been quite expensive and require re-plastering of the walls, so these were simply a no-brainer for us.) Highly recommend!

I ordered a 'Cement Stone' Effect one of the three types you can order back in April 2024 and now its time for one on the other side of my desk. I used it on my desk as a back light to my computer screen to reduce eye strain where it gently washes the wall with light. Getting the bulb in is simple using the tips of your fingers - No so if you have long fingernails, then better grip the bulb with duct tape. The switch is a simple on/off rocker switch - but I have an Alexa bulb in there to get the best colour for my eyes, as staring at screens all day long take their toll. There is a knack to getting the bulk in - using the thumbs and side of the forefinger of a freshly washed hand (ie not greasy or slippery ) then the grip is easy. Otherwise buy a Rubber Sucker used for GU10 bulbs

Lovely light, purchased for behind a chair but nice enough to be seen. I used an led lamp so it doesn't get too hot. I may have a different one to others as the wire comes out of the shorter side of the light, the switch is along the wire, which what I wanted. The lamp is a little awkward to put in the light but not impossible. I am hoping the led will last a good while (it was purchased seperately) I purchased two lights but only needed one as the light it gave off was good enough so the second will be a gift. The only downside is the packaging. The boxes were battered and had 'fragile' tape all over which is fine. However there was no other box inside so I need to find a box to be able to present the light as a gift.

Nice, simple, good quality. Great you can add your own bulb to customise brightness and colour temperature. Work as floor or table lights.

Really good at giving you extra light without the glare. I have actually purchased 2 of these now. You can also buy colour changing bulbs which make all the difference for setting the mood.

Tut was sie soll. Aufpassen muss man, dass diese Leuchte einen Commonwealth Stecker / Typ-G Stecker hat wie man in in England verwendet. Ich musste also noch einen Adapter für die Verwendung in Deutschland dazu kaufen. Ich finde es gut das sie keine fest verbauten Leuchtmittel hat, sondern man eine LED-Lampe einstecken kann. Diese kann bei Defekt gewechselt werden und man muss nicht gleich die ganze Leuchte wegwerfen.

Lampe wurde mit UK Stecker geliefert und ist damit für den Einsatz in Deutschland ungeeignet. Außerdem fehlt das Leuchtmittel, welches separat bestellt werden muss. Dies steht nicht in der Produktbeschreibung. Enttäuschend....das Ding geht direkt zurück.
