very easy to do, comes in a premixed paste, but if you want to put any writing you need to poke into the paste.... you can't just write on it will not go deep enough, but everything else is very easy to use, and a lot of fun to do.

Overall, this is a good product. The frame was better quality than I was expecting and the putty worked well. I made this using our cat's paw prints and it still turned out great, despite the fact that his paws are small and I couldn't push too hard for fear of hurting him. After taking an impression of his paws, I used a q-tip to lightly push into the print to make it a bit deeper and I think that really helped. As other reviewers have said, you will get cat/dog hair all over this thing. Once I had his impressions the way I wanted them, I used my fingers to smooth out and wipe away as much hair as I could. Baking worked fine and both the paw prints and the name I craved turned out ok. I gave this four stars instead of five because the mat came totally destroyed - it was bent and broken, so I had to use one that I had at home. Otherwise, I'm happy and I think this will make a great gift.

I purchased this set for a friend who's beloved dog was dying of cancer. My friend and her husband were very touched. She added beads and paint to make the print extra special. My friend said goodbye to her Pheobe a few weeks later. I am so glad I ordered this.

This framed paw print kit is so simple! It is easy to do and put together. I got it for my boyfriend and he loves it. The only thing to be aware of is fuzz and fur. Due to the nature of the clay/foam material everything gets stuck in it. I did the paw prints on the floor and pressed her paws into it. If there is somewhat to dust the floor in the area and clean pups feet that would be better. the fuzz/fur gets baked in and since the material is so white you can see it all. I am fairly OCD tho. But over all great kit.

I put our 4 Schnauzers and 1 cat pawprint on it and gave it to my husband for a gift along with a picture. It was easy to do. It would be nice if he frame were higher quality but I would buy it anyway. I got several for my friends.

I have seen these before and thought I would get them for my 2 elder cats. It is a great concept and for the price this is a nice piece. I just thought it would be easier to make it look good and professional. I struggled a little. I wish I had a scrap of the clay polyform to practice on before I did the real version. I am pretty certain if I ordered a second set, I could make them look better.

This kit was nice to use and user friendly. The putty is easy to work with and made our dogs paw impression easily.
