Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Xbox One)

Nice to have a campaign mode where you can really enjoy the cinematic side of things rather than just the multi-player side of things which to be fair can get a tad repetative.I loved the single player campaign mode and being immersed in the "movie" part of the storyline, excellent blend of controlled action and cinematic action that doesnt interfere with the game or enjoyment level.In campaign mode you also get used to how the game plays, weapons, controls etc, especially if like me you come from a purely PC gaming background. The xbox one takes a bit of getting used to but i'm getting there.All in all an excellent addition to your gaming library and well worth the money.Hope this helps.

Great game. I am not good at video games and I seem to be able to get by on this one, meaning it in my opinion is not to hard to play. It is entertaining and attaractive to play. I like it very much. There are no instruction manuals on these types of games nowadays and limited info/instructions appear on items and such in the game loading and selection phases/sections. You have to figure out alot and there is not that many how to do videos/wiki/forum posts for much of it. Which is rediculous seeing as how originally the publishers wanted around £50 for this. I dont know how long it originally takes to load/update the game because I purchased the digital version before (it took over 12hrs) so I already had the full game on my system. Probably around 3hrs my guess. I recommend.

As far as Call of Duty games go, I have to say this one is not as bad as most people are saying it is, but it does seem to have more down sides to it than plus. The single player campaign I found to be very enjoyable and interesting, but unfortunately the plot twists you can see from miles away, they don't give enough time for character development at all here, the story itself feels a bit rushed. For all you achievement hunters out there this game is relatively easy however, and it can be quite challenging on the hardened and veteran difficulties.I found multiplayer to be very similar to Ghosts which was annoying, the whole Exo suit customization was very good, and there is a huge variety in weapons and various special abilities to use and lots of upgrades for the Exo suit in single player too which adds to the replay ability. It feels like this game has been greatly inspired by Titanfall because you can use jetpacks and lasers and fly around all over the place, but for some reason you can't Wallrun, which is annoying because that would have been an awesome feature. The create your own emblem feature is back for multiplayer which is always good, and it feels more similar to the Black ops games with multiplayer than it does to the Modern warfare trilogy which I prefer. Exo survival has new challenges added to it to encourage replay ability but I found it a little too boring because it wasn't tied into the rest of the game. There isn't enough variety in the online game modes, they need to bring back modes like Demolition and 3rd person, which was a nice switch to the series and made it more fun. Online seems to be whoever shoots first wins now as well, they took away most of the health so players can die quicker. Despite this games flaws with its fun but easy to read campaign, slightly broken multiplayer and boring Exo Survival, it has tonnes of replay ability and I frequently play online because it still has that addictive feeling to it. Advanced Warfare gets a 7/10 from me.

After getting slightly bored of previous iterations of Call of Duty, this was definitely a breath of fresh air.The exo-suit mechanics and abilities give a whole new feel to Call of Duty whilst having a similar feel at the same time.I haven't delved much into the single player campaign as I have been too addicted to the multiplayer, which I believe to be the best Cod Multiplayer in years.Plenty of customisation options along with the new Supply drop feature is also new and adds a small amount of fun if you like customising your characters looks and getting upgraded variants of weapons.There has been many issues since launch. Matchmaking and connection problems mainly, although from my experience, the majority of these have been patched now and I have no problems playing.

Absolutely love the product - couldn’t ask for better. No better out there in the current climate than this. Great deal and great overall. Fully satisfied with this purchase and I will be purchasing again when needed. Recommended and shared with many friends who have also said the same. Brilliant

Brilliant game although my favourite game mode is zombies you get from the dlc so it is worth buying for that alone. The campaign is probably the best cod campaign out of all the call of duty series, I would go as far and say better than cod 4 one. I have played all the campaigns and this one made me wanting me to keep playing till i completed it, such a good story and variety of things instead of just going through the same missions on a different map. Overall really good game definately worth buying whether your a zombies mad gamer online or campaign only player.

This COD has the best graphics I have ever seen and the detail on different faces is unrivaled. The campaign is great fun but lacks much of a story so you don't feel very personal or involved with the story so you just feel like you are running around shooting random people. The multiplayer, on the other hand, is very good and flows well but it is a bit to easy to be shoot in the back.

Awesome game with insane multiplayer. Gameplay is fast and fluid and contains an element of Titanfall. Best cinematics in a game that I have seen in a while. Story was slightly predictable but very fun and contained a wide variety of unique interactive experiences. The online multiplayer is far different from any other Call of Dutys I have played, but it still carry's that COD feel to it. Overall I think this game is great fun with a strong competitive feel to it.
