My children not reading books...too much screen -Great Solution
Hi, I thought about a nice book for my friend's son for birthday as a present.(I normally send a book from reading list), but then realised that my friend's kids are not too keen on books anymore...during lockdown..thought great thing to do at home...in thier own garden with your siblings, this is not so taxing as reading or watching or learning science, ordering expensive material (online stem leaning acitvity items), to learn science fun way..easy to do .. I am satisfied of what sent after reading index -activities woudl teach, Air, Sound, Water, gas, lot more ...science MUST BUY...during Lockdown or summer holiday.. to learn science K2, K3 level

Great fun and easy for children to follow
Got this for our niece as an 8th birthday present. Had a flick through so we could also get some of the bits she would need to the science experiments. A lot of the items are things that are generally found around the house or easily and cheaply available. Great for anyone who is excited about science and having fun as a family

For budding Scientist's young & old yet another excellent, clear & inexpensive book by DK
Bought this as Christmas present for nephew Was very happy with purchase (I believe DK have been a good educational publisher for many years). It's not a thick, heavy hardback book chocked full of loads of bumph but a nice, well laid out paper back that looks like it'll be very clear for my 6yo nephew to follow Fair few experiments to do too that'll hopefully inspire & teach him

A lot of the experiments required obtaining things we did not have in the house

Nice diverse, but not always so practical
Had many great showable experiments for the kids as well as many experiments perfectly doable on their own with minor guidance. However, many experiments are either more of the same, or not practical. So 4 out of 5 for me.

A great book for kids
This was a birthday gift for my 6 year old son. He loved this book, and started to do the experiment right after it. The quality of the paper in the book is very good. Every step and explanation is clear and easy to understand.

Good range of difficulty levels
Bought it for my 4 year old, some good experiments in there for her and many more too advanced so should get decent usage for a few years
