I discovered this item on a FB page for items made out of cuben material. This thing is the best for on the go “real” coffee. Use it at work, out walking, while out on runs (I carry a Raidlight Olmo). Sturdy as, carrying it around in my work jacket pocket (I’m a mechanical engineer). Took a few cups to get the tea spoon amount right, but that’s down to personal preference really. If I lost or broke my current one, I’d buy a replacement straight away, saves the hassle of a cafetière, easy to clean, no glass, and cheaper. Win win all day.

This is a fantastic filter that handles everything from ginger powder to coffee grinds, and of course your loose leaf teas. I bought this one 2 years ago and we use it so often I just ordered another. Hubby and I are using more healthy powders (like ginger) and bulk loose tea products. Fine metal mesh doesn't work as well as cloth mesh. Cleaning it is a breeze, just swish in soapy water and gently wipe with a soft sponge. Fantastic, durable product that lets us save money buying bulk teas, steep a variety of herbal products, and avoid having to buy a coffee maker. Highly recommend!

I had one like this, but with plastic mesh, many years ago and had hunted for another for ages and then I found this. I use this with coffee at work as a bit of variety from my coffee bags. It's great and very easy to use just put a scoop of coffee in,pour over the water,leave for a few minutes to brew then lift out. Tap the coffee grains out and wash. I've used a dishcloth and also a brush to wash and no damage has occurred. Easy peasey. Also comes with a lid which can also be used a tray to stand the basket on. I like the fact that this is small,easy to use,easy to clean,hardly any mess and allows you choice in respect of which grounds you use it with. I keep it in my drawer at work and with my ocd it's still in its original box. For those wanting fresh brewed coffee (or loose leaf tea) I would recommend this as much less hassle and less washing up than a cafetiere.

Works really well, hasn't stained with tea leaves and happy being run through the dishwasher. Top keeps tea hot while brewing and doubles as a drip stand. Still going strong after 3 years of regular use.

This is an excellent way to get a decent cup of coffee if only making for one. I initially bought to take away with me on hiking trips, but have been so impressed with it it now lives on my desk at work so I no longer have to suffer the coffee machine that serves gravy tasting dish water. Simply one tablespoon of filter coffee and a bit of hot water and you're away. I will say that there is a small amount of coffee that will get through the mesh, however it is no more than what you would get if using a cafetiere for a comparison. Yet to use with any loose teas but imagine it may even work better as they tend to not be as fine. Overall I highly recommend for such a low cost, well worth the money!

This is a great basket filter for a single cup or mug of coffee or tea. I am using for coffee, and whilst not as fine as a previous filter I had with a plastic mesh (Nylon??) its advantage is it it is Stainless steel and much stronger. These are just perfect for making a quick cup of loose tea or coffee. I really do not know why these are not more popular for brewing coffee as results are similar to using a cafetiere but much easier and no wasted coffee by having to make more than you actually drink so saves on your precious ground coffee. You will not be disappointed!

Good quality item. Tea appears to brew through it well, without any of the leaves getting into the tea (the very fine dust of some teas does get through, but settles at the bottom of the cup). I've found it fits very well in a 3 cup cafetiere (i.e. the smallest one) which allows a mug full of tea to be steeped, then the brew basket to removed and stood in its led to prevent dripping, before the tea is poured into the mug already containing the milk, following the order recommended on every black tea I've tired. I have one for home and one for work and would replace immediately if lost.

Excellent item. It's got an exceptionally fine mesh which keeps all but the finest of particulates out, so pair this with a non-dusty quality tea and you'll never have floating bits again. The cap doubles as a base for when you remove the basket so you don't have dripping hot tea on your counters and the wings allows the item to be used with even fairly wide mouthed mugs. My only wish was that the wings were a tad longer, but that is the most minor of quibbles.

El filtro tiene una malla fina de buena calidad, que deja pasar bien el agua pero retiene perfectamente las hojas o el café, consiguiendo una bebida limpia y sin residuos. Es cómodo de usar y se adapta bien a diferentes tazas o recipientes. Además, al ser reutilizable, es una opción más ecológica y económica frente a los filtros desechables. Se limpia fácilmente y da sensación de ser duradero, algo importante si lo usas a diario como en mi caso. En resumen, un filtro funcional, resistente y muy cómodo para el día a día. Stop searching and just buy it! I’ve used this infuser to make tea once a day on average for over four years and it’s as good as new. It brews a great cup of tea whether you have nice big tea leaves or crumbled up little finings, and it never lets any pieces into your mug. Sometime after I finish drinking my tea (or umm, sometimes not until the next day), I run it under water for about 20 seconds and scrub out any remaining tea leaves with my hands, and I’ve never felt it needed anything more than that to get clean. Size: The medium basket fits mugs with openings from just under 2.5" wide to about 3.5" wide. It’s 3" tall, so if you’re trying to use a mug shorter than that, it will rest on the bottom and stick out the top (it will still work). This medium basket fits in/over my standard-sized mugs and is perfect for travel mugs and Nalgene bottles. Get the large basket for your giant widemouth mugs. I have a large basket as well and use that when I make a huge mug of tea on the weekends, but the large basket is too wide to fit in the mouth of most of my travel mugs. Pros: -Not expensive at all -Will last a long time -Easy to clean -Super simple to use -Genius lid/base* Cons: -Maybe not the best for coffee. I’ve used it for coffee a few times and liked the results, but others may not agree. *The lid/base idea is great! While your tea steeps you put the lid over the basket to keep your tea hot. Then when you’re ready to take the basket out, you flip the lid over and it becomes a saucer to rest the basket on. No mess and no needing to immediately go to the sink to wash out the basket when you’re ready to enjoy your tea.

Very nice tea brewer. The super fine mesh lets me make a cup of almost dust-like Ceylon tea without any of the tea leaves ending up in my tea cup. Perfect!
