Nail Clipper for Small Animals, Small

Excellent little clippers, I find wrapping my cat up in a blanket like a swaddled baby (a purrito) and extracting a foot at a time works. She's not the biggest fan but we get the job done. These clippers are great for making a job we all want to be over quickly over more quickly.

I have a small dog who doesn't like her nails being cut. For the past year I have been struggling with some large proper dog clippers which I would find very cumbersome. By the time I had the nail and the clippers in position she would move her foot. I wish Id bought these to start with, they are just like holding a small pair of scissors and now I can clip her nails with ease :)

Got these to cut my rabbits nails. Cut their nails - it was stress free! The clippers easily cut through their thicker back nails with no problem.They feel good quality and sturdy - the hinge isn't loose which is a good thing as it holds the position you want whilst you move on the nails.I was apprehensive to cut their nails and was thinking about getting the vet to do it, but getting the scissors was much cheaper and much less stressful! I used treats to calm them down between each foot and lots of reassuring speaking/strokes, and it went fine.Plus - the clippers came with a small instruction list on how to cut the nails - showing the angle and where the quick is!

The main problem with these is they don't sedate the dog prior to clipping. I've been using treats and training to get him to accept them. It works after about ten minutes until I get to clip one nail. Then I have to leave it a few days before moving on to the next one. By the time I've done them all I have to start again. At least they're sharp and accurate.

These are my third attempt at finding clippers that I could use effectively with my dog. She's very small and her claws grow quickly, even with the walks on the pavement as much as possible. With both blades being curved, I found it makes it easier to cut with more precision and little and a time as the claws are black and you can't see the quick. I've so far avoided any bloody messes!

Having previously used other types of nail clipper for my rabbit and not having a huge amount of success, these are the best I've used and am so happy about them! They're very easy to use, comfortable to hold, and are silent (unlike my previous clipper which made a hideous noise that stressed by rabbit out terribly). I highly recommend these!

Brilliant! The perfect size for a cat or kitten. They’re well made, and cut the nail nicely without crushing it. I can’t speak highly enough of how perfect this product is. Every cat owner should have a pair!

I brought these after my previous pair of guillotine style clippers became blunt, and have found the scissor style of these clippers much preferable. They have a comfortable grip and sharp blades that have made a clean cut through my guinea pigs' claws each time I have used them so far, meaning trimming is over quicker and piggies are happier!
