Brilliant book for a 1 year old..
So many common animals to ask your little one to find.. some hidden behind pull outs and some really small so they really have to focus.. love the whole Campbell first series

Good for little ones
My 21 month old loves it. Plenty of cute animals to find and count, little mechanisms to discover. For a week or so she was utterly fascinated with the cat chase the mouse turn around on the last page

Excellent Book
This is such a lovely book! I bought this for a just one year old and he loves it, however, it is suitable for older little people too. This book has lots of pull outs hiding night animals, flaps and revolving wheels that include flying bats. Great fun. It encourages interaction and animal recognition from a young age. Never too early to start ‘reading’! I would thoroughly recommend.

Perfect for young readers
Great books for young readers. Very sturdy construction. Our daughter loves themBe aware that for UK readers not all of the nocturnal animals are UK natives.

Nocturnal animals
The book was good for the reception class , bit the down side was I bought 2 . It cost me £11.98 but when they came they had the sticker on them that said 2 for £7. So obviously was disappointing seeing I'd paid a lot more than this. Remove stickers for such deals in future before sending them out !

Cute
The books in this collection are super cute and have great illustrations. My child loves the interactive parts. They are a little short but still very nice.

Grab, before they go!
Much better than those pricey pop- up books. Even liked more than Usborne's board books 'Peep Inside' series, which were my earlier favourite. I have a complain against those (Usborne's), of missing some names or information about all the animals/ insects featured there, but this Campbell's ' First Explorer' books have a tiny list of names with pictures of animals described in that particular page with a question to interact with their little readers. I really appreciate it. More over, the push-pull-slide part of each page is made of paperboard too, to endure those not so gentle hands. Unlike other pop up books, whose pop up or pull portion is thinner than their book pages. Total eight pages of four set of scenes, with each scene providing something to pull, push or slide.Getting it at 238/ is a steal deal. My 4yrs old loved them at first sight.

Toddler approved!
My son loves this book. We took it on an airplane, and it kept him quiet for 20 whole minutes! Very cute illustrations, especially the fox cubs that peek out when you pull the flap.

Very interesting and fun book
Very engaging book for toddlers. I love all the First Explorer books... Very educational. It helps to have such an interactive book to help cement the information in a fun way into the child's mind.
