Made in China not UK
i emailed D30 and they said that this company is known to them. But, made in china! i was hoping it was made in the UK. there is no proper quality control of this product since you can see the mold residue inside the holes. i could not verify how impact resistant it is. i immediately emailed D30UK because i was in doubt.

D30 armour Is a must and worth every penny!
I like the fact that it, sits nicely in my pre hip cut outs in the triumph jeans I bought for the summer, The D30 hip armour feels protective if I was to fall, and let’s face it it’s one of the likely areas of you hit on the ground going round bends as I’ve had the experience of doing once.

Great additional safety protector
I have a 20 year old 'Biko' jacket which has the pocket but lacks the protector. Due to purchasing a mid-life crisis bike, I thought it was time to upgrade the protective capabilities of the jacket a bit. This fits the pocket without emptying my pockets! :)The size is accurate and the shape appears to fit a fairly standard jacket pocket for back protector and although I'm a 42 chest male (OO-AAH!) the ladies size matched the pocket better (Am I now crossdressing? :D). The material is semi-rigid but easily flexible enough to work into a pocket from the top and the ridged inner surface works well at providing some ventilation. It is lightweight and once the jacket is on, I wouldn't have noticed any difference. Good price too!

Best motorcycle armour available today?
The material D30 is soft and pliable, but stiffens immediately on impact. Level 2 D30 is probably the best armour protection available to motorcyclists today.Great product - light, soft, comfortable, vented and under £30 (Level 2 back protector, large), a good price. :)

Very comfortable
For those who don’t know D3O is viscoelastic armour, meaning it is soft and pliable when worn but when imacted at high speed it becomes rigid. I have a full set of the level 2 armour and although bulkier than the level 1 it is still quite comfortable and fits my furigan jacket and bullit jeans perfectly.

I thought it was probably a good plan to upgrade to this L2 CE protection
Bought to replace one of those bits of foam that come in some jackets. I thought it was probably a good plan to upgrade to this L2 CE protection, hopefully I won't put it to the test anytime soon but I suspect it would be up to the task if I did. I may well replace the shoulder and elbow pads with D30 as well now. Just need to decide L1 or L2

Light and flexible
No idea if it really works and hopefully never will but it's definitely light and comfortable.. almost invisible armour. Flexible on the knees. My friends didn't even know I was wearing motorbike jeans!

I returned to play hockey and modified and I used to protect a hip replacement.
I researched various types of protection and 3DO appeared to be at the top of the list for protection

Nice upgrade
I recently bought a new jacket for summer riding and it only had a foam pad. I like my back, so level 2 armor just makes sense to me. D3O is flexible and has vent holes. There's lots of good choices for armor out there, but I really think D3O is the best value and protection for the money.

Good and Bad
The Goodit's CE level 2 which should provide good protection in a fall or impact. The Badthe dimensions are small so the covered area you get for protection is small and unless you fall or are impacted right where the protector is, you won't get any protection which is the whole reason I bought it. It should be wider to provide protection to more area.

Cool feel and good quality.
Have not crashed in this, and hope not to. But it feels much sturdier than the pad that came with my jacket. Only complain is that it’s heavier than other pads and not very breathable. You can feel the way this product strengthens when you hit it; it goes from a soft flexible foam to a hard plastic in the instant you tap/hit it. Really cool honestly.

Genuinely good product. Must have for MC gear!
Excellent fitment and thick, yet flexible. D30 level 2 is the way to go, and it's no joke to mess around with potential spinal injury. I had a 4 foot fall straight into my spine recently, and I wish I would've had my gear on from a ride or something, cause I'm jacked up. This is a good price, with good shipping and a genuinely amazing product all around

Great addition if your riding pants have no hip armor
They are stiff but soften as your body heat warms them up. And they do work, as a new rider I have tipped over on my bike on pavement and did not even note a hip strike. Even though after taking my pants off later they have a small abrasion on the hip protection.

Great for Aerostich Roadcrafter
These fit perfectly in the pockets for medium-sized hip-pads in my Aerostich Roadcrafter two-piece. I have not tested them, fortunately, but they are flexible and don't get in the way. They are a bit thick for riding jeans if you want them to look like regular pants.

Excellent quality and protection affordable too!
Got this for the wife’s Olympia riding jacket. It appears to be made of very high quality material it also fit inside the pocket perfectly. Hopefully she’ll never need to try it out!

Worked
Had to cut it to make it fit, but I rather have that than too small or big and can't cut, feels really good and durable, flexible is the best part for me

Fit BILT brand Cargo pants perfectly
Fit my BILT cargo riding pants perfectly. Very comfortable and stay places where you put them. Hope I never have to report on their protection

High quality, comfortable
Fit perfectly in jacket. A bit thicker than the level 1 insert but still. Comfortable in the jacket. Quick shipping even considering where it’s shipping from. Have purchased the elbow and shoulder armor and very happy with them too.
