Practical in use and pleasing to the eye!
The most important thing to check before purchase is that the bowl size is right for your sink. If it is too large it either won't fit your sink, or will be difficult to get your hands in to lift it out when full of water; too small and it will look ridiculous and be impractical. Amazon show the bowl size in their specification section half way down the page. This bowl is ideal for my kitchen sink and great for washing dishes. It is made from sturdy plastic and has a smooth, shiny finish. It is easy to keep clean and has no sharp, internal corners to collect dirt and germs. It has two opposing strong handling areas which make lifting it easy. It rests on two raised areas which allow water to flow beneath it which also helps keep your sink clean. Having used Addis products for years, I expect it to be very durable. So do Addis who offer a 10 year guarantee on product registration. I chose black because it colour co-ordinated with other kitchen tools and utensils in my kitchen, but it comes in other colours. Pleasing purchase.

Quality Addis bowl
Have always bought Addis bowls for the kitchen sink, they are simply the best... better than..... the song is in your head now isn't it?Cant rate durability yet, but will update when I've had it while.Pros:Easy to clean.Perfect fit for our sink.Good vibrant colour.Decent quality.Cons:Not quite the same quality of older Addis bowls.Great purchase, will do everything I need it to do... except wash the dishes!

Lovely bowl
I bought this to be able to soak my feet instead of using the heavy, cumbersome foot bath. This does the job perfectly! It is light, sturdy, plenty of room for my feet and easy to empty, so I couldn't wish for anything better. I love the colour, too!

It is what it is...
...it's a washing up bowl that we use in the kitchen sink. Our kitchen has a number of red items and this was bought to go with the bright red colour which it does. The description of 'Roasted Red' nearly put me off but it turns out to be a proper bright red and not 'plum red' as the picture and description might make you think.Being Addis it is of reasonable quality and is not too flimsy. My only concern is that our last one developed white blotches in the red plastic at the bottom [not the result of over use of bleach] and looked quite dreadful. Coming up for 3 months daily use and all is still well - fingers crossed.

Keeps in good condition
Although this bowl was a little more than I have previously paid, it was well worth the money. I was always having to replace previous, cheaper bowls because the plastic they were made from attracted stains more easily. This Addis bowl is made from a harder plastic and stains don't cling and so far, after many uses has remained stain free. It is also sturdy and has a nice depth to it.

discolours over time
This is a good sturdy washing up bowel for the price, however this is the second one I have purchased as the first one discoloured over time, we had a black one and it faded and went white in places, maybe it got spooked with the wife’s cooking? Does the job it was designed for though which is holding soapy water.Edit: update on this item, discoloured already not great quality, dissapointed.com

Top quality product
I've been trying for a long time to get a bowl which was a) small enough to fit in my 1980's stainless steel sink and b) large enough for a 10.5 inch dinner plate to sit flat. I've tried quite a few and none have done the job - this one does! I doubt this is by accident - I suspect Addis have done their homework and designed this to be suitable for large plates and standard size sinks while others just stamp out plastic bowls without thought. Add in high quality durable plastic and a bargain (£3.29) price and I'm more than pleased.
