Been in need of a shower stool due to mobility issues and have looked at many stools which are advertised as being proper shower stools. However going through many reviews there are claims of rusting and breaking. This is fully plastic so zero chance of rust and it is obviously incredibly sturdy as this is designed to be a step stool. Unlike most proper shower stools this folds neatly and can be stored plus it can still do it’s designed job of being a step stool should I need something off the top shelf of my cupboards. Not as high or adjustable like a lot of shower stools but for my needs I can sit quite comfortably on it.

It makes me sad to say this, but this is one of the better purchases I have made all year. At a statuesque height of 5ft 4 inches, I think, I've only just recently come to admit that I'm not able to get full access to everything in my kitchen. For longer than I will admit I would climb on the countertops to get at anything out of reach, often to the disdain of my taller flatmates. Now that I live with two other people, who are vertically challenged, this item is always in use. It is made of strong lightweight black plastic which Folds up when not in use. It's not very stylish but it is incredibly useful. Should have bought it years ago.Update: I've used this regularly for nearly two years and has developed a crack on one of the centre pieces. It grew slowly even though I always tried out out my weight where it was most stable. I still think this was a good purchase but would have hoped this would last longer given that lighter than most people.

Reasonably well made. Mine arrived damaged as the handle was broken in its packaging before I had even used it but it has not made a difference to its functionality. It still holds my weight of nearly 100kgs. It folds away and opens up easily, just make sure the sides are opened properly and the top secures them.

I was let down by another supplier of a similar item so reverted to this one - and I'm glad I did. A very strong sturdy footstool that can be used around the home to allow my wife (who is vertically challenged) to get to any of the top shelves in our home, and we have several. I've put it to far better use just recently in the glorious weather we have been having - it makes a fantastic drinks stool next to my sun lounger. My G&T's have never tasted better. Seriously, this footstool does the job and at a very reasonable price.

Nice and compact so can be stored in the kitchen cupboard and then brought out when you need - really sturdy and I've never once felt uncomfortable or nervous about putting all my weight on it. After a few uses the some part of the hinge broke off making it difficult to fold up and also makes you feel insecure when you use it as it makes some funny sounds.

This is ideal for the job and folds away nicely into a small space as needed.I have to keep a lot of constantly needed stuff on a fairly high shelf in my kitchen and I previously had a heavy pair of folding steps that I had to drag out each time to reach things. I was concerned that this little stool would not be high enough for me but it is just right for my 5' 7" to reach the things or change the light bulb in a lowered ceiling. It is solid and secure enough for both my husband and myself to stand on (separately!) (we are both average weight.)

Ordered two of these - one each for upstairs and downstairs - and will be using them a lot. The step is a good height, folds easily and is very lightweight. One step doesn't quite open completely flat and makes a disconcerting crunching noise when I stand on it, but it works fine so far. The other is as smooth as silk.

Mon garçon a 2 ans et demi, j'ai acheté ce marchepied pour qu'il puisse atteindre le lavabo pour se laver les mains ou se brosser les dents (il est plus haut que les marchepieds vendu par Ikea permettant de monter sur les toilettes). C'est parfait pour la taille ! Et en plus, il est très léger, facile à plier et déplier. Bien sûr, cela doit rester sous surveillance, mais mon fils insiste pour le sortir, le déplier puis le replier tout seul. Et il arrive facilement à grimper dessus. Je vais en acheter un deuxième pour ses grands-parents !

Der Hocker ist nicht so stabil wie gedacht! Beim ersten in der Mitte darauf steigen (ca. 90 KG) knackte der Kunststoff bedenklich!Am Rande ist er stabil. Ich habe bedenken die Oberseite könnte in der Mitte durchbrechen, deshalb steige ich nur noch am Rand darauf, dann geht es.Ich würde dieses Produkt gerne in einer stabileren Version kaufen. Dieses ist es aber nicht.Nachtrag: Nun ist es Plastikmüll! nach kurzem Gebrauch ist noch mehr gebrochen... Schade!
