This is a very nice Christmas Train. Perfect for circling under the Christmas. The train sounds are life like sounds. It is sturdy for adults. But it my not stand up to young children. It is great for Christmas decorating. But would be somewhat cautious for using it as toy for a child.

The media could not be loaded. This is such a great product for the price. Adds to our Christmas scene beautifully. I love the light in the front and the steam. It’s really cool. It’s super easy to put together too. In case you don’t read the directions like we us, 😂😂😂 it has two "on" switches. One is for the steam, and one is for the actual train. Originally thought it wasn’t working - nope should I wear directions. Highly recommend.

I would not put this in the hands of young children, because it seems like it would be easily broken if one is not very careful.Taking the tracks apart is a little tricky. It would be easy to break them if one isn't careful or doesn't know the technique. Best way is to turn the track upside down and push downward on each side of the connection. Even so, when doing it I felt it might break.That said, it works really well and for me it was worth the price.If I were buying one for a very young children, I would buy a more sturdy set.

It works great. The steam feature is super cool and yes it does leak a little water, but nothing to worry about.

Update: Only a few months later, the train engine stopped working, too. Replaced batteries, cleaned contacts, but no luck. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!!This would have been a great train set EXCEPT for two quality issues: (1) After 2 times, the steam function stopped working - the water leaks straight out, so it doesn't make steam anymore; and (2) The track went together okay, but as soon as my kid tried to take it apart to move it to the other room, one piece snapped in half.I would return this for a replacement, but it came from "Santa" and I can't secretly return it unless I have the new one to swap out.The lack of steam didn't bother me or my kid too much, so we could have lived with that, but the broken track wrecks the whole set. The item description says to contact the seller with any problems, so I thought I would just request a new set of tracks, but there is no contact info for the seller either in the Amazon listing or in the package that the train came in. So this promise of customer service is empty lies. Super frustrating because until the track broke, the train ran nicely, and it was one of my kid's favorite presents.

Oh it is perfect! Makes noise and has a steamer. Has a lot of tracks so you can make it as big or small as you want! Works great! Battery operated. Exactly what I was looking for!

It doesn’t play Xmas music. It does make train sounds though. Just to let you know.

This is very cute but had to return for electric train. I want it to run every evening under my tree. After a few minutes it has drained the batteries.
