Dyson AM06 Desk Fan, 12 Inch - White/Silver

I thougt about buying a Dyson fan when I got m last standard fan but was put off by the price. The old fan only lasted a year or so before t started rattling and going slow then fast so I binned it and bouht a Dyson. I wish Id got it back then. It seriously is the best fan I've everhad sure it's expensive but I never want a conventional an again. the dyson is so quiet ad the constant air flow is so cooling. Also having a remote is just the height of laziness and when it's hot wh wants to be getting up to adjust the fan. Buy this item.

Bought for elderly parents bedroom. One wants a cooling fan, the other cant sleep with the noise. This solves the problem, very low noise (almost silent), very good cooling of whole bedroom during recent hot weather, Excellent remote and superb directional function kept them both cool and rested. Although expensive theywould not be without. Highly recommended.

Best fan I have ever purchased. For nearly three years I could not decide whether or not to invest in this fan. Now I have I am pleased to have done so. When in use the air does not seem to be churned up and overbearing. The wind flow is very subtle even on the highest speed due to the technology in place. It does not cool the room down and should not be confused with an air cooler, but it does help to cool me down comfortably. It is quiet in operation and on the highest setting all you hear is a slight hum. The remote control sits well on the fan rim due to the magnetic contact. I would recommend this.

I bought this fan to aid my sleep, as I have problems regulating my temperature overnight. Compared to a conventional fan: 1. It is quieter, but by no means silent. It is a constant level though, and I don't believe it affects my sleep. 2. It has 10 levels of speed, and is very adjustable. I use it on the lowest level and this gives me a lovely gentle breeze, which I love overnight and does the job I was hoping a fan would do of helping with my temperature. 3. It is much more expensive 4. It is very easy to set up. Just a case of aligning 2 units, and twisting to lock. It has indicators of what to do on the units itself. 5. It has a remote control, which is simple in its design. It allows the user to turn on/off, oscillate it, change speed, set a timer to stop. Tilting can be achieved manually, but easily. The remote control is small and can be kept on the top of the fan as it magnetically clips on. 6. BUT, and here is my gripe! The speed is displayed via emitted bluish light on the base unit. Although, this doesn't seem bright during the day when other lights are on, at 3 o'clock in the morning when my bedroom is otherwise very dark and my pupils are enlarged, it is a beacon! It's not possible to have the fan on, and the light off, so I have now resorted to turning the whole unit off.

a beautiful fan. Quiet, stylish and powerful. As it should be for the price. I would prefer if it angled downwards a bit more for my particular use, blowing down on our bed from a mid chest cupboard. The first one I had made a small squeek when it was on rotate. Not much but enough to be annoying and keep me awake. I mailed Dyson a little video to demonstrate and they instantly replaced teh unit. Sending a courier with a new unit who came with an empty box to collect the old one. Now that's service! Good work Dyson, five stars!

It's a good fan but it's not worth the price. When you open it, it doesn't feel like a premium product (like Sonos does for example), just another plastic appliance. The LED light does not adjust to the ambient light and so at night, it is far too bright and lights up the room. The remote only works reliably when the fan is facing you so in oscillation mode, you end up pressing it several times. There are no manual controls on the fan so if you lose or break the remote, you're stuffed. Yes it's quiet and yes it's Dyson but to me, it seems wildly overpriced.

This machine is magic!! Dealing with the heat of the last week, this fan has fulfilled my expectations. It’s quiet, cooling & efficient. Having the remote control is a bonus. Being able to control its functions from my chair is brilliant. Thank you Dyson. Money well spent.

What a saviour during the hot nights! Great having the remote control to vary the fan speed without having to move. Very quiet on low speed and not too bad on top speed. Pity it is quite expensive but it has certainly proved worth getting for this summer (2018). Would recommend. Usual high quality from Dyson

Ventilation bien fraîche, comparable à une petite clim. Très efficace lors des dernières canicules et sécurisant avec les enfants. Pratique la télécommande, je n'ai pas testé la minuterie. Le prix reste élevé, comparé à un ventilateur ordinaire mais je ne regrette pas mon achat
