For the money, I'd expect it to come in a box (not a plastic pouch). It works fine. Sometimes needs unplugging and replugging when I restart my MacBook, but that could well be a macOS issue.My issue with this product and a lot of the other products in its class is why the cable from the device to the computer is so short. Particularly this one which I am using as an ethernet / HDMI adapter. Both of these things are permanent connections so there is no need to see the device on my otherwise clutter free desk. I've had to buy a separate extension in order to hide the device and all the cables coming from it. Would be much better if the cable was longer. Or better yet, make it a port instead of a cable, include a cable with the product and allow the user to choose.One small improvement would be for the ethernet cable to be on the same side as the HDMI. This would mean all the cables going to the fixed peripherals like displays and the network can be routed straight backwards and under the desk, meanwhile all the removable peripherals like chargers and portable hard drives are facing the user.Otherwise a functioning, well designed product. Would recommend.

Its not obvious that to make things like Ethernet work you need to plug in a charger - charger isn't supplied. It took a bit of time to get my external monitor working too but eventually got there - still not sure what I did to make it work. Haven't tried the memory card slot but assume it will work.

I have two disks, an HDMI screen, the standard Apple MacBook Pro power adapter and a network plugged in and it gets hot and cannot cope. It loses the LAN after a while. If I run on wireless and don't use the cable it is OK, so is still useful, but is not the all-in-one device I had expected.

This works well, does everything which is stated. Colour is a little different from my MacBook pro but thats not the end of the world.

After about a month of use, this has been temperamental. When plugging in a USB-C charger through this, the laptop sometimes charges, but more often it isn't. When plugging in traditional USB devices, they are usually being recognised, but not always the first time, often after a number of un- and re-plugging them. Same story for the HDMI connection.The build quality though seems good, it feels solid and the connectors all allow the cables to plug into place without any play.It is better having this then none, but not at all a consistent experience, certainly not at this price.

The media could not be loaded.  I've tried a few cheaper versions of multi-ports with HDMI, and none of them have worked on the 2016 edition of the MacBook. So having this one actually work was a very reassuring feeling. The network adapter works fine just for a few days, also when you connect two devices to USB ports the hub will disconnect devices from time to time. Not recommended, return as faulty.Adapter sieciowy działał tylko pare dni, dodatkowo jeżeli podłączysz dwa urządzenia do USB, to hab będzie rozłączał urządzenia od czasu do czasu. Nie polecam, zwróciłem jako zepsute.

Nothing to complain about but the smell, so far.
