As an auto and computer/electronics technician Im no stranger to using tools. This is one of the best tools Ive ever bought and it wasnt expensive. This tool outperforms EVERY other cordless screwdriver i have used with a name brand and 4 times the cost... On top of that it FEELS so balanced and good in my hand that I just pick it up and hold it for no reason...seriously !! 🤣 It has feature some of the other expensive cordless driver dont have like the nattery meter, ability to use as a normal driver withlut the motor amd has the highest torque of all cordless drivers in their class... It says Amazon Basics on it but its made by Skil....you will NOT rehrey buying this...on top of that the ergonomics are similar to a regular screwdriver rather than these weird shapes the others are. Its 1/4" shank style means I can use my existing bits and accessories from my impact driver... Im going to buy another one just because I can use more than one and the cost is at or below 20 dollars... And no I wasnt paid to glow all over this thing...its REALLY impressive.

This is a must-need tool for most households. Think about how many times you may use a screwdriver in a year... for everything from hanging pictures, to assembling furniture, to opening devices to get to their batteries, etc. A simple yet powerful electric screwdriver like this one makes tasks so much quicker and easier. I also have power drills but most of the time, all I need is a simple powered screwdriver like this. I purchased this one as a replacement for my aging non-rechargeable one that required 4 AA batteries and didn't work nearly as well as this one. This little guy is great. I love how it is rechargeable, has a LED light on it that my old one did not have (this came in handy during my first use!), and how it comes with a bit set for those who may not have one yet. It was a great deal for an indispensable, quality tool. It is lightweight, fits well in my hand, and performs well. Highly recommended for most households when a power drill isn't needed for the job.

This is an excellent product but does have one drawback. Pros: 1) It takes a charge and holds the charge. The USB charging capability is excellent. Use a FAST charger for the best effect. 2) It's got torque, baby. I just use it for computer work but it's capable of much more. 3) The screwdriver bits are excellent, although jammed pretty tightly into their holder. 4) The price is great. Very reasonably priced and it's delivered to your door 🙂 Cons: I have only one negative thing to say, It's too small - or something. What I mean is that the button (the trigger) is in an awkward place on the unit. The unit is so compact that your hand covers the button and it makes it almost a two hand job. I replaced a failed case fan in one of my computers and the contortions needed to loosen and tighten the screws were pretty inconvenient. It's a two handed affair. Just think about that when purchasing. Overall, I like it. The unit's not too small, my hand's to big. 🤔

The unit is well made. Very inexpensive. Lots of torque. Nice convenient size. Fits in a tool box and takes up hardly any room. Driver head are of good quality. Charges quickly and lasts quite a while. It is not designed for heavy duty work. If there is any drag on the screws the torque is transmitted to your hand. If you are not careful you will strip the screw heads of damage the bit head. I found that even with moderate levels of resistance when putting in a screw, the screwdriver quickly becomes hard to handle. There is no clutch so it just stops dead when it is pushed too hard. There is only a short wait until it comes back but still quite bothersome. Without a clutch its not safe to use on light duty items but fails as a driver for moderate torque screws.

I don't do a huge number of reviews but this little guy definitely deserves it. You're not going to drive a lag bolt into a 4x4 with this, but do you really need to? This thing is great for places where you have lots of screwdriver-level torque going on in a relatively small space. I use this enough in the garage to remove and snug up 10mm screws under the hood and on access panels that I'll probably buy another just for out there. Simple, not much larger than a regular screwdriver, and will torque out of your hand unless you're really holding on. Just buy it already.

An excellent choice for a cordless stick screwdriver. Our +15 year old B&D cordless screwdriver finally reached the point it could no longer hold a charge. The Amazon Basics by SKIL 4V Cordless Stick Screwdriver is a perfect replacement for our tried & true B&D. The Good: Excellent quality. Ergonomic. Adjustable torque. Intuitive to use. Nice basic accessory kit included. The Bad: USB C charging. I know that USB C charging is a deal breaker for many users: No option for a backup battery. The Ugly: There really is no "Ugly."

Awesome little screwdriver - no frills, just works. Still working after leaving it in my raft unintentionally for a year - submerged for days while on multiple river trips and sat outside lost for a year - amazingly charged up and works just fine!

Work great putting together some IKEA furniture. The drill has good power. The three torque settings aren’t as simple to set as some of the more expensive torque dials on other models, but they worked well. I found that just not screwing in something all the way was easier to do than rely on a torque setting which I didn’t have much experience with yet.

Awesome, holds a charge far longer than any other cordless screwdriver I have tried, torque is good for 95% of tasks you need a normal screwdriver for.

I installed a few doors with this the other day and it actually worked really well. I prefer it over an impact driver because you get full control to snug up the screws and twist the rest manually so you'll never strip the screws or the wood. A useful tool to have around the house.

Necesitaba un nuevo destornillador eléctrico, ya que mi Ryobi de 4V que tuve durante casi 8 años finalmente dejó de funcionar. Vi varias reseñas en YouTube sobre este modelo de Amazon Basics en las que hablaban muy bien de él, y realmente cumple con lo que prometen. Se siente con la fuerza suficiente para trabajos del hogar y su precio es muy accesible. Además, tiene la gran ventaja de cargarse vía USB-C, por lo que puedo recargarlo prácticamente en cualquier lugar. La descripción menciona que es fabricado por Skil, pero, tal como vi en las reseñas de YouTube, parece ser en realidad un modelo de Worx para Amazon. Mi único problema fue con la logística: el mensajero lo arrojó por encima del portón de mi casa y el paquete recibió un fuerte impacto. Ahora suena como si algo estuviera suelto dentro del destornillador y emite un "tronido" al girar. Si le doy un pequeño golpe deja de hacerlo; es como si la pieza suelta se atorara con el mecanismo en movimiento. Por suerte, Amazon ya resolvió el inconveniente y solo estoy a la espera del reemplazo.
