Ear Thermometer Adults

This is a fantastic little thermometer for the price and has proved an invaluable source of reassurance following my mum's surgery which left her prone to infections. Obviously, infections cause a spike in temperature so it was useful to have this to hand to check her temperature on a regular basis and especially if she was feeling unwell. If her temperature was within a normal range, then she was unlikely to have an infection. Use is really easy and whilst there are good instructions, it's quite literally point and press (making sure you don't push the problem too far into your ear). Results were instantaneous and easy to read. I don't understand why people would spend more on something which is relatively simple technology.

I purchased this due to my son being poorly and my old school thermometer took far too long for a reading on 1 year old. I used this item almost as soon as it arrived, took a couple of seconds to beep then the reading appeared. Such a great price compared to others on the market and super fast delivery. Highly recommend.

Good temp reading and I love the size : you can bring it with you everywhere you go as it can fit in your purse with ease; and also it came with it's own zipped casing which is a plus because you can store it in whenever not in use. The item came in very good condition, well packaged and it arrived as expected. I used it to monitor my son's temperature and it gave me the convenience because I don't need to poke him with a digital thermometer anymore. Very easy to use! Highly recommend this product!

I was very disappointed with this product - it was extremely inaccurate: recording temperatures of >2°C difference seconds apart. If you are relying on these measurements for a child or chemotherapy patient it could potentially be very dangerous.

Works well if you can get it snugly inside the ear canal. I get readings varying by .2 or .1 in my ear.However, my kid is 4 and has small ears so it was quite hard to get the probe deep enough and the readings were showing +-1 deg which is a bummer. Cleaning the sensor lens does help but not much.Still it beats conventional thermometers as you can get multiple readings in a short period of time and then average them.

i purchased this in ear thermometer when my grandson arrived with a high temperature and we only had an old in the mouth thermometer, we purchased it from amazon and it was delivered the next day, it is brilliant we just pulled the tape off the battery and placed it in his ear and within seconds it bleeped and gave us a temperature of 38.1 which allowed us to treat him with the correct medicine.brilliant********

This does not work well with children, due to the fact that both adults and children can use it, the ear piece is very big for children and doesn't fit well.The readings were also erratic and cant be relied upon which is crazy and false readings can lead to incorrect diagnosis - this was tested side by side with other thermometers

Small compact efficient thermometer which is quick and easy to read. Bought this for use as carer for cancer patient and found it excellent. Body temperature shows almost immediately and I felt every confidence in using this product. I would recommend to others. No fiddly covers to fit just switch on and insert in ear hear a bleep and 2secs later you have accurate temperature reading once it bleeps. Great that it is usable for all ear sizes - child through to adult.
