I find that when I've finally adjusted the strap to fit me (it does take a few tries for it to be properly on), it takes some effort for me to open my mouth. So it does work - it's stopped me from mouth breathing for the most part, and I don't wake up frantically trying to breathe or anything. I do warn for future users to make sure that the holes on the side of the strap for your ear allow your ears to be out, though; that's how you know the strap is on correctly. Otherwise, the strap will slip off in your sleep; for this reason, I've found it best for me to fall asleep on my back to prevent this issue.The downer is that I move a lot in my sleep and the strap, as it's velcro, traps my hair and makes it somewhat difficult to separate them in the morning. On one occasion, my hair woke up with some vicious tangles, though I've never faced the issue of the velcro ripping my hair from my scalp, fortunately.Overall, though, it's recommendable.

I use it in conjunction with my cpap and it is working well so far. It seems a little small, I have very little adjustment left on the top, and I have plenty of tension to keep my mouth closed. It appears to be well made and of good quality material.

I have very bad snoring when I am sleeping. My wife kinds like get used to it. However, she couldn't get good sleep since she pregnant. This snoring chin strap is my life saver. No more snoring. Very good product.

I love this, it keeps my mouth closed at night so I'm not making noises that wake me up and keep my husband awake.

the main problem is one stated earlier -- the Velcro on this is upsidedown. This means the stiff abrasive side is facing down and digs into my head when I wear it. Has left a sore spot on my head after one night.
