Love it!
Great, sturdy, and true to size for US system. I mainly use it for medical ring splints but I also make some regular jewelry.I have not tried hammering on it with anything other than rubber yet but so far no marring has occurred.

place for bead when wrapping ring
Heavy and durable. There is a groove from top to bottom for a bead to lay partially while you wrap your wire. Works great. I have enjoyed this tool for over a year.

Super heavy, hard to read
I’m no expert, but this is super heavy duty and seems like good quality. My only complaint is that I wish the numbers were black because they are hard to read, hence only 4 stars. I also purchased the “MUDDER Stainless Steel Ring Gauges” and measured each one on the mandrel - they seem to align accurately.

Very well made !
I’m new to working with wire, but as soon as I unpacked the ring mandrel I knew i made the right decision. I’m Quite anxious to use it.My sister in law is very versed in wiring said it’s better than what she has and well made.

The grove is wide enough to add dead’s with wire wrapping.
Wow. I wasn’t expecting how gorgeous it is. The groove is perfect and I love how it come in an enclosed case.

Worked very well for me, at a fraction of the cost of a jeweler.
It worked very well for me (being very careful with the position of the ring on the mandrel), with the accompanying jeweler's hammer, and the total was 1/3 the price of a jeweler. And I keep the tools. I like that.
