Coasters were different sizes, and one didn't doesn't fit in the holder.

This is a lovely set of 6 coasters. They're made of solid rosewood and are very hard wearing. They're handmade with a leaf and vine design inlaid into the top of each coaster. The holder is also made with rosewood and has a nice gold pattern etched on the sides.They do have a strong earthy smell when it arrived but it's bearable. The colour of the coasters vary in shade with some being lighter and one being quite dark but it all adds to the unique handmade style.They measure 7.8cm in diameter and fits most of our mugs nicely. Overall I'm happy with this set. When they're not in use it's handy to have the holder to keep them in.

For the money, these are soooo good, with their embossed surface and the bras inlay on the holder I think I’ll buy ten sets and give them as Christmas presents because they look like they’d cost bomb.My only slight misgiving is that they’re made from some exotic hard wood, described as ‘rosewood’ which is a word used to describe umpteen species of exotic hard wood and that perhaps it’s a species of tropical hardwood, itself as well as the forest from which it came, on the endangered list. And they’re probably made by four-year-old indentured child labour. Mind you, I don’t give a toss about the environment or the human condition, at least they’ve got jobs and I’ve got nice coasters!

Ok, smaller than expected don't quite fit my glasses or mugs

Love the natural wood but just a fraction to small for a mug or my large gin glass ( mind you not many drips or spills from that) Finish not waterproofed so gets water marked / stained easily.

Nicely made coasters, but the circumfernce is quite small. Trying to place a mug with a standard base on them means the mug overlaps the coaster and could topple off if not placed centrally. Not bad, but could be much bigger.

I brought theses a few days ago and have used them a few times the colour has come off most of them and the are different sizes some of the mugs hardly fit on to them very dissatisfied the worst thing is I went and brought 2 sets
