EASTPAK Padded Pak'r Backpack Midnight

Great for days out, smart enough for work. Strong and well made, I love the midnight blue which goes well with everything. I don't mind that there's no inside pocket as the outside one is useful and if you put things in an inside pocket they tend to dig into your back. Straps are stiff and take a while to soften up. Very comfy to carry and enough room for all my stuff, but not too big. My boyfriend has the out of office backpack which is slightly bigger and has a laptop pocket. I might have to get another colour at some point.

This backpack is compact yet is still able to comfortably accommodate my university books. The straps are well padded so the bag is really comfortable on the shoulders but you do have to break into the straps first which were stiff when I first got the bag. I did so by wearing it around the house with my heaviest anatomy book! It is waterproof and the material feels hard-wearing. I have received many compliments and I have also recommended the bag to many friends. Delivery was swift and the packaging was really robust. I'm extremely satisfied with the service and product.

The famous Eastpack is a well established brand which is very assuring but it's very ambitious claim of warranty for 30 years is a long shot in the dark of which there is no precedent. It is well built with good features and made with good quality material and that is how far I can see it. If it lasted five years then I will be more then happy as I cannot see myself to be on this planet in 30 years so this claim has no meaning for me. Still it is a good branded product and it is very well made. You should try it for it's claim on durability as it looks that if used properly then it will last long time. Try it.

We have 2 other Eastpaks - bought a couple of years ago (made in China and Thailand). This one (made in Bangladesh) has thinner and less stuff material. Still has 30year warranty. Rest of build quality seems up to scratch - so far. The old ones get heavy use - shopping/baby bags/travel.The thinner fabric doesn't automatically means it isn't as good but it feels less good and is a little disappointing re: the general slide into cutting corners. The Hershel backpacks have much thicker materials - though haven't owned one enough to comment on rest of manufacturing quality.Style is personal of course - I like these because they are not "fashion" but form for function (and therefore pleasing to look at also - mine is the dark blue which is nice). Would still recommend.

Absolutely incredible bag. Fits way more stuff in that I originally thought, I've had a laptop, books, clothes, shopping, everything in it, and it always seems to fit!Am just waiting for the straps to soften up a little as they are currently quite stiff, but having read other reviews, it seems with a bit of wear and tear they become incredibly comfortable.Looks really smart and have worn it everyday since it arrived, not had any problems yet!

This is by far my favourite bag I've brought of recent. The bag has alot of room in and is very comfortable to wear. The durability is also very good.. I've done alot of walking with it and even taken it abroad many times and it's been very helpful. Would 100% recommend.

I use this bag for college and casual stuff.Personally I really like this bag, I've had it for a few months now, the colour hasn't faded, It's still holding it's shape and it's working very nicely at holding my A4 folders and sometimes a laptop. I use the front of the bag for my wallet and pens so it works like a pencil case.

The product arrived within 5 days abroad to Spain. It was extremely well packaged, it was the correct backpack and my son is delighted with it. Would recommend this site to anyone. Eastpak backpacks can be expensive, this one was excellent price, the quality speaks for itself, 30year garauntee, very pleased with this purchase. Thankyou.

Nous sommes extrêmement déçus.D'abord le sac n'était pas de la bonne couleur (noir au lieu de bleu !). Ensuite il était cassé au niveau de la boucle, one ne pouvait enfiler la sangle et, cerise sur le gâteau, il avait l'air d'avoir déjà été utilisé - il y avait des étiquettes qui manquaient !

Ich musste mir jetzt ein neuen Eastpak Rucksack kaufen, da bisheriger (der gleichen Marke) die Frechheit besitzt, dass nach 15 Jahren der Reißverschluss manchmal spinnt...Ich schreibe die Rezession über mein 15 Jahre altes Modell, seht es einfach als "Langzeittest"Der Einsatz meines alten Rucksacks begann mit meinen letzten 2 Jahren Schule. 5 mal die Woche musste er ordentlich Bücher schleppen und war dabei Schulter und Rücken schonend.Danach begann die Ausbildungszeit und mein Eastpak war immer dabei, er wurde als Motorrad Rucksack genutzt und musste für Partystreifzüge herhalten (12 Flaschen Bier passen ohne Probleme rein, ist nur für die schultern etwas unangenehm^^).Zuletzt musste er noch 10 Jahre Arbeitsalltag bestehen (täglich Brotdosen, Arbeitssachen, Werkzeug usw. schleppen).So und nun geht er nach 15 Jahren so langsam kaputt, ich dachte eigentlich dass es ihm irgendwann den Boden oder einen träger Abreißt, aber nö, der Reißverschluss schließt nicht mehr richtig...Also möchte ich Abschließend sagen, wenn der neue Eastpak (welcher anscheinend wieder sehr gute Qualität besitzt) nur halb so lang hält, dann bin ich voll zufrieden, bei dem Preis hat er sein Geld eigentlich schon nach 2 Jahren gut gemacht ^^
