My large “instant” cooker stopped working recently and the thought of making rice on the stove, well it’s such a mess…. So I went looking for a rice cooker for just me and I stumbled across this one. I read all the reviews, especially the negative ones and the positive ones far out numbered the bad reviews. So I get this delivered and now I had to wait to make rice for a meal. That was last night. I thoroughly read the instructions, yes they are confusing, but just know that you should. Wash before hand!! Tip: ONLY use ONE of the PROVIDED measuring cup for the rice. I added the rice (it is a pretty good amount too) and then added the water. I like my rice on the tender side so I added enough “extra” water that just went over the 1.5 line in the base. I closed and locked the lid, plugged it in and turned it on. I set my microwave timer to 30 minutes (as recommended in the book) and if it didn’t turn out the fluffiest, not stuck together rice, I was going to be not happy. (ps… rinse the rice first like it says). It turned out amazing. I popped off the (be careful of how hot it is) and there sat a beautiful little pot of white rice. All fluffed up with a fork, now it was time to eat. Yes it was tender, but as with anything new, I’ll need to keep experimenting to find the exact amount of water (to me it needed a bit more). Next time I will add butter and my seasoning to the rice before cooking, giving my side dish the flavor I like. This little compact unit sits quietly on the shelf until I need it again. I didn’t experience one single issue others have raised for this unit. It won’t last forever, but it will give me the most bang for my money right now. If you only want to make 2-3 servings of rice, this is your new best option.

I have seen reviews on line for this Rice cooker. One person showed how water was leaking down the outside of the pot. I know why, he added too much water. I cooked in mine today followed instructions to the letter and got perfect Rice no issues. Clean up fast and simple. Most cookers come with recipe books to highlight the features and products it can cook. This one does not. I had to go online and ask questions about how to add vegetables to my rice and if I needed to add more water. I did and it came out perfect. Teriyaki, Broccoli, Chicken and Rice. Didn't have Chicken in cooker or Teriyaki sauce I layered it after the Broccoli and rice were cooked. What a great meal.

The product is not nice designed, and I didn't realize the quality is so low, but it's too late to return; becaused threwed all package away. But I still want to write to you. The cook and warm switch botton is installed very bad and LED light doesn't work. When you want to cook, the light is yellow--warm light, but when you want to keep warm, but it is red. This kind of product should not be on the market. I have to buy another brand.

This rice cooker works wonderfully. Make up to 3 cups of perfectly cooked rice. Excellent for 1 person.

I ordered this because it fits my needs perfectly, it fits in my small kitchen, and perfect for one person. It is only 200 watts, so perfect! BUT, the lid is too complicated, it is in 2 parts. I have to disassemble the lid in order to wash it, and yes, you do need to wash the 2-part lid too because the steam from the rice seeps into the lid so if you don't dismatle the lid to wash it, you will experience rancid rice next time you cook. TOO MANY PARTS! But I do love its size, it's perfect, other than the 2 part lid. S I G H Had to return. I like simple, this is not.

Great little rice cooker. I make my two little dog’s food every day and this is a great tool for preparing nutrient rich ingredients to their lives. Used several times so far, easy to use, easy to clean. I’m satisfied with my purchase. This is the perfect size rice cooker for fresh rice for one person and two dogs. I was using the instant pot cooker and find this is faster, easier and the rice does not stick like it has been with the instant pot.

This appliance was really great. Easy to use. Convenient. All the things. I love that it’s compact and really works for one person, but then it just stopped working. It appears that the heating element broke. I’m trying to get support for this since I only have had the rice cooker for 4 months and it’s still within the manufacturer warranty period, but so far I’ve found getting anywhere with them or Amazon on this is not panning out. I, despite my issues, would recommend it but just know that there’s the potential for the rice cooker to break down.

This is a cute, adorable, "fun size" rice cooker that does a fantastic job, FAST job, and very easy to use and clean. With traditional popular rice cookers most buy these days- they seem to take a long time (at least 20 mins if not 30 or more)? And they always seem to "spout" in their vents to dirty up the thing. Not this one. I was shocked the first time i used this and the rice was ready in what- 15 mins? But its' true. I will start the rice, then start cooking my meat/veggies and the rice cooker will finish just before i'm finished cooking the meat/rice. PERFECT! it's also clean and easy. NO dirty vented spout "schmutz" with this unit. Very clean very quiet. Can load up to 2 cups (measuring indicators in the removable pot), but I would say do 1.5 cups at the most. (i'll try 2 cups once and update this review if there was a problem). Small enough to just take the pan out, turn it over, tap it to empty it onto a serving dish. Rinse the pan out. DONE. so in 15 mins you have cooked, dished, and cleaned the thing for 1.5 cups per 15 mins. Excited also b/c its size means you can use it at an office/work desk, camping, road tripping, plug it into a car , etc. fresh rice in 15 mins wherever you want? AWESOMENESS!

I am Chinese and in my 60's, so I have gone through a few rice cookers. Bought this mini rice cooker because with just 2 of us, the rice cooker we have been using is just too big. This mini rice Cooker works very well - the rice actually cooks up much fluffier. Easy to wash too with the non-stick bowl. Only down side - be forewarned that their "cup" size is based on the measuring cup provided, not the standard U.S. Cup measurement. Not a big deal once you are aware and stick to using the measuring cup provided.

We have had a rice cooker for years that works very well if you use 2 cups of uncooked rice. Over the decades we have gotten older, appetites, and just 2 of us at home. This cooker cokes one measure (2/3 cup) perfectly and quickly. No more left over rice which my wife would freeze and I would not like. Much happier. The rice is perfectly cooked. Clean up is just add water and wipe. Also takes less space than the old one. Very happy and would recommend for one or 2 person family.

I live alone and don’t need a large rice cooker, so this one is the perfect size. It does get pretty hot on the outside, so you need good oven mitts to handle it and the silicone ones used for Instant Pots are far from adequate. The rice gets a tiny bit brownish on the bottom, but it’s not burned. The instructions say to let it sit for 15 minutes after the button switches off, but I find that unplugging it and letting it sit for only five minutes is more than enough. The rice turns out much better and fluffier than when cooked in a pot.
