Birkenstock Gizeh, Women's Sandals

Birkenstocks are always relaible and these are no exception. The arrived quickly and I'm really pleased with the colour. They have a slight shimmer without being too shiny and will go well with lots of outfits. I find this style particularly comfortable, they stay on my feet well and my last pair have lasted for 3 years and I'm sure would keep going - I just fancied a new colour!True to size, the regular fitting is slightly roomy for me and I think my feet are about average width so if you do have narrow feet, I'd advise going for the narrower fit.

Having read previous reviews I ordered a size smaller (4) than my usual size (5 UK), the fit was perfect. They are not very comfortable to wear initially so best to wear an hour or two a day indoors to allow the sandal to mould to your feet. Once this initial stage of adjusting to them was over I found them to be very comfortable. Wore them abroad for two weeks and so far everything is in tact. Very good quality, design and price.

I find Birkenstock Gizeh the most comfortable sandals for all day wear, and I bought these to replace a pair of plain white leather ones that had finally worn out. I chose these because although they're not pure white, they're more interesting looking and still good to wear with predominantly white clothing. The sandals have pure white toe posts and soles, and the Birkenstock lettering, buckles and toe post buttons are gold coloured. The foot beds are leather lined but I don't think the uppers are leather. They are smooth, glossy and off-white and the snake skin effect design shimmers with pale pink, peachy and very pale green tones that are subtle and very pretty. The over all appearance is still that they're a white sandal, but they're lovely and I'd recommend

I have had birkenstocks before and this one doesn't disappoint. Lovely turquoise colour and arrived quickly. Good value for money as well. However the reason it has dropped a star is because of the ridiculous sizing. I have size 8 feet - this is an european 42. There is a trend over the last few years to re-size an 8 as a 41 so look out for this as you may need to go up a size. Be careful though because these birkenstocks are small - I had to order a size 43 (10?) and unless my tootsies have grown - unlikely as I am over 50 -.this is a bit of a pain as the choice decreases This only seems to apply to the womens range - my son wears them and his normal size fits fine.

Birkenstock is super comfy as those who have worn it know.For those who havent, give it a go. I've been wearing Birk for years and I can't fault it. It looks great as well. Great for walking and shopping. Great for warm holidays. I wear them to work as well.The navy is true patent navy and red on it is lovely. Get your exact size. Might look a big large, that's because it needs to cup your feet. Adjustable strap always helps as well! Go Birkenstock!

Ordered these and when they arrived it appeared they were the narrow fit, but this was not advised on the advert. I discovered on the internet that the way you tell their width is the number at the end: if it ends in 3 it is narrow fir, if it ends in 1 it is regular fit. I ordered another pair in regular, for size, and found that narrow fit was suitable,That said, the colour of these is perfect, a pearly colour, rather than white. The alternative pair I ordered was plain white, which looked cheap, so I was extremely happy with the pearl colour and have returned the white.Ordered with Prime and they arrived next day. Happy with purchase.

Absolutely LOVE the Birkenstock shoes, soooo confortable, I can walk miles and miles in them!! For me they are the most confortable sandals on the market. That said, BE AWARE YOU NEED TO TAKE ONE SIZE DOWN. I'm a 38 and I took a 37 that fits perfectly. One of my friends recently ordered a pair as well and didn't know the size thing so she ordered her usual size and had to send it back to get one size down (she is 37 and fits the Birk 36 like a glove).

My first Birkenstocks but certainly not my last. They are so comfy and feel so natural on my feet. I suffer from plantar fasciitis but I hardly feel any pain in my heel when walking in the flip-flops. The arch support is brilliant. I am still breaking them in (the toe posts still feel a bit strange but I will get used to it) and haven't walked long distances but what a difference they already make - amazing. My feet are a bit on the "wide" side, the regular fitting of the sandals are perfect for meHighly Recommended

Absolutely LOVE them!

This is my first pair of Birks and I get the obsession. I almost gave up during the "break in" phase though because the blisters were unreal. Now I'm so glad I persisted! They're so comfortable and cute.

Premiere paire de Birkenstock et surement pas la derniere...Le confort est total!Concernant la pointure j'ai suivi l'avis de certains acheteurs, j'ai pris une taille en dessous de ma pointure habituelle. Le 38 semble donc bien adapté à mon pied mais pas de comparaison possible réelle avec le 39....Alors!je suis trés satisfaite de mon achat
