Your doors are sanded to a 220 grit finish at the factory and don't require any sanding prior to painting. MDF doors are never stained, since they don't have natural wood grain. These are wonderful doors! I got customer care that I wouldn't have gotten if I had ordered from a big box store. A couple of days after I placed the order I got an email saying I could fine tune the measurements if I wanted to, i.e. 1/4", 1/2"... I didn't but it was a nice option. Included in the thank you for your order were painting instructions with a list of materials I would need. They also got here much faster than the quoted date. Three weeks faster in very good packaging. This is a wonderful company all about quality and customer service. Thank you

Absolutely Great Quality
I was so pleasantly surprised when I received these, I had priced getting new cabinet doors but these came in about half of the sale prices at local hardware supply stores and they are top quality. I thought on my budget I would have to settle for cabinets with thin doors and veneer that would pull apart in a few years. Then my son told me about MDF and how thick and long lasting they would be. They stained and polyurethaned beautifully and I am so proud of my kitchen cabinets for the first time. Thank you for a great product at a reasonable price..

Great Product
I bought these custom doors, because I had a contractor that wanted to cover my breaker box in a newly renovated basement space, with a door. What a jackass! I told him to close the wall, and I would find cabinet doors to accommodate the space. And BAM, this company fell into my lap.Ignore the wait time warning, because my product showed up ahead of schedule. That was appreciated. The overall construction and quality of assembly is flawless. I don't see any wood glue, wood putty or other. There were no scuffs, stains, and barely any saw dust from the factory covering the product.They give you instructions, on how to paint the MDF. which in retrospect, I probably should have done, but I used a grey stain, to try and match a barn door my wife ordered, and so far I'm still pretty happy with the final product. But, in my opinion, follow the painting instructions, and you won't be unhappy.

Excellent construction and well finished. Perfect match to the specified size. They look great installed. Nice tutorial included on finishing the cabinet doors. Would definitely recommend this company for cabinetry.
