Always wary buying cheaper alternatives after splashing out on a BiOrb aquarium but I’ve been using these for a few months and they work just fine. It’s well worth buying 1 extra BiOrb filter and keeping the plastic housing so you can make up the filter prior to swapping it over. It’s a bit of a faff with the little bags of stuff and the foam ring. Well worth it though you’ll save a fortune compared to the BiOrb ones. And less plastic waste so win-win.

Trying out some of the copy products for the biorb aquarium, these are working very we, obviously you need to use the original biorb filter case with these as they are only the sponge and carbon/mineral particles which go into the filter cartridge.But extremely good value for money and are working okay

Very good pack, much cheaper than biorb original, the only noticable difference was the cleaning cloth, it is more coarse so be careful not to scratch the acrylic tank.

Good value for money for these filters they fit in the original filter and makes cleaning easy.

Seems fine to me. Fish seem fine after switching to this. Big monetary saving Vs original biorb filters. Even if you half the change out frequency it's still a great saving. Will buy again. Give the media a rinse before adding. The sponge fits fine and snug into the old filter housing. Will buy again.

Thought I’d try these as biorb originals are significantly more expensive. The foams are exactly the same size and fit as originals but slightly more coarse sponge, but only ever so slightly, you really would notice.The media also looks very similar and so long as you follow the instructions to soak the sponge and rinse the media before popping in the tank they work brilliantly.The pics I’ve attached shows one kit fitted to a biorb filter container, just to be clear, the container doesn’t come in this pack, just sponges, media and a cleaning pad.Highly recommended.
