Worth the money.
Cut 18g steel and thicker Al very well . I Have quite big hands and sometimes it is awkward to use these as they open out even wider than my reach, also the latch mechanism can sometimes get in the way during cutting however these are small niggles on a good purchase.

Sharp!
Bought these as an alternative to ordinary scissors to cut course wire wool.I’m a French polisher and use these daily. They’re quite heavy but very good quality. Time will tell how long they keep cutting with ease. Very happy thus far. 👌🏻

Work well on lead flashing
Good for the money and cut well on code 4 lead flashing. Tip: do some test cuts first to get a feel for it and also finishing a cut whilst still within the material (i.e. to form corners in the fold of lead flashing) needs care so as not to cut further than you want to go. But very happy with these.

My second pair.
Great snips my second pair still got my old ones had them about 8 years still working but coming to the end of life not bad though use them every day at work I am a plasterer so they have had some stick over the years,Realy strong snips well worth the money you only get what you pay for at the end of the day.

Best snips for the money
If you work with sheet aluminium and need to cut these are your best bet. Worth the money. Used daily and still cuts nice and clean.

not the best snips for professional use
These are probably pretty good if needed for DIY, but as far as sitework goes, they are substandard snips. From new, though sharp, sheet metal does sometimes manage to wedge itself in between the cutting blades. I've got a brand new pair and I'm spending the extra to go out and try a pair from a more highly recommended brand (Wiss).
