Just the job...
Plugged it in to my iPod Touch and it immediately worked. Now I can use the guitar tuner, simple recorders and other audio-in based apps. Only snag is that it's so small it's going to be easy to lose. Maybe a loop to put a keyring or carabiner through would be an idea...

Its cheap, handy, works with BB but iPod Classic
There is an incorrect description on this. It works marginally better than the built in hands free conference facility on a Blackberry (on a BB), which is OK, but it does not bring up the voice notes feature on an iPod classic like an iPhone style cable does, so you cannot use it to record

Cheap and functional
Used it on 2nd Gen iPod. Works with voice recorder and Skype app. The receiving sound is poor only because the speaker is crappy on the iPod Touch.
