Bigen Men's Beard Colour | No Ammonia Formula with Aloe Extract & Olive Oil - 102 Brown Black

Black means black. Got this thinking it would be closer to dark brown but it was definitely... black. First time it was all well. Second time I tried to economise and had to have another go at some areas, meant re-mixing 3 lots of the stuff. The good thing is that you can ix as much or as little as you want each time, so it's quite economical if you don't have a massive beard (mine's just a goatee). IN the end you need to get a fair coating on the hair and I leave it 15 minutes not the 10 minutes they recommend. Very slight redness of the skill, a bit itchy for a few hours but it's under a black beard, so - not noticeable anyway :) And I always get a bit itchy from any product I've tried - it's only a very minor thing at worst and probably partly psychological. I was also worried about having dye products right under my nose (PPDs etc?) having developed a problem previously with another hair product, but this was fine from that viewpoint too. However - it's all down to the individual so please don;t take that as a guarantee that it will be ok for you!

The best beard dye by far! My husband has tried 7 different brands over 5yrs for his beard with white patches. This one is the most natural looking, with no harsh chemicals or staining. He used just for men for years, but it would sting his skin and leave dark stains, this one only dyes the hair, not the skin around it and doesn’t add block colour to his beard, it adds colour so you get a more natural covering of colour. You can also choose how much colour/ darkness you want to add by how long you leave it in. He loves it and will only use this brand now. This one is natural brown. He found Brown too dark. Great product!

Only used to buy this brand because it didn’t give me a rash. Now the last batch causes a bad skin reaction where I’m left scratching and skin is red and weeping. The bottles inside are much bigger which I thought was great but obviously they have changed something. The colour takes so much quicker now and looks unnatural. Why did they change the formula?!

Not a bad product. Did a patch test first, no issues. Takes a bit longer to change colour but works well, Hence the 4 stars. Good colour match not silly dark for my colour tone. Slightly more cost then similar products.

Coloured beard fine, but caused a skin rash, so not for me.

The beard colour is a fantastic product and stay on for more than a week.

Easy to mix and apply. Worked v effectively. No issues with skin sensitivity or stinging at all. It’s easy to modify how natural/dark it looks depending on how much you load up the applicator with cream. I recommend using a thin layer on the first application and can on subsequent treatments.

I'm a regular buyer of this dye, my beard is entirely white and I was badly searching for a good dye, and then... I found Bigen, there's nothing better than Bigen, go for it because even I hide my Vitamin J (Jawani) with this dye😄😄😄

This was a total success! Ever since I started coloring my beard, I’ve used 'Just For Men' (Brown Black) shipped from Amazon USA. However, after trying Bigen Beard Color because of a steep hike in price of Just For Men beard color, I realized just how much better it is. My beard is mostly white around the chin and dominated by white-grey elsewhere. I used Bigen Brown Black (102) and followed the instructions carefully; the results were incredibly effective. Unlike Just For Men, Bigen colored deeply right down to the roots, leaving no trace of white behind. The color intensity was also much stronger, while I wasn't necessarily looking for a darker black, the rich quality made my beard look much fuller. In comparison, the Just For Men shade often left a strange bluish-violet tint and failed to cover many of the white hairs. A tip for others: if you prefer more grey and less black, try a higher number like Bigen 103 or 104 and so on. The black intensity decreases as you go up, allowing more white hair to show through for a lighter grey look. Best of all, I had no allergies and no skin staining, which was the same with Just For Men too. Bigen beard color is a Great product! Won’t be getting back to Just For Men beard color anymore.
