Great finish for counter top
Great finish for counter top after applying the Marble paint to old formica counter top. Followed the instructions to the letter for a perfect finish. Dries hard in a day or so....takes about 2 weeks to "cure". Clean with mild detergent....I don't put hot pans on the counter top either....not taking any chances on ruining all the work! I finished my kitchen counter tops in about 3 days and am very happy with the results...really worth the money when you can't or don't want to spend money on replacing counter top.

it looks much better. It is still not as shiny as I ...
I bought this top coat because when we did our countertops we accidently spilled half of the can and so we didn't have enough to do all our countertop. I had to read up and watch several youtube videos to be able to finally get the top coat right. It was very streaky the first time we did it but after we put a couple more layers of top coat on and learned the correct way to do it, it looks much better. It is still not as shiny as I would like it but it still looks good. I didn't want to keep adding layers of top coat because of how difficult it was to apply without having streaks. So far it has been easy to clean and has not lost its shine.

Excellent!
I did not use the paint kit, I had painted using a competitive brands kit (cheaper) however the clear coat from the competition was a more mate coat and it did not look at all like a marble look I wanted. So in the end I spent MORE money trying to save money with the competition because I still had to buy the top coat and thrilled I did because is was super easy to use, went on smooth, and dried to a perfect clear. Exactly what I wanted!

Patience pays off
This is the most critical....and the hardest...step in getting a faux granite counter top. It is difficult to put down, especially after you've one or more coats down, but if you take your time and follow the directions, it does wonders. This is the step that adds the shine and makes the whole counter top glow, where you really develop that granite look. BE PATIENT. Take your time putting the coats on and then wait the full fourteen days before using the counter top, but you'll be glad you did. I actually have a spot where I put a total of seven coats on the counter and it looks really good. Great product, but you do have to use it correctly. So far, its holding up without any problems.

It seals nicely but after a year it yellowed. Made our white counters look dirty.
Cost effective but did not like that the colour changed.

So far so good
I used this product to seal my countertops in my bathroom which I painted to look like soapstone. I used other brands of primer and paint, but I wanted something incredibly durable for the top coat due to the nature of the bathroom always being wet. I decided to try this product even though they recommend only using it with their paints.I read previous reviews that said to do 5 or 6 coats, so I did that but other than that I followed the directions exactly. It looks so great, is not sticky at all, holds up to all the water around the sinks, and held up nicely to my cleaning products. I’m very very happy with this finish! Definitely recommend.
