Wow!!
This was a present for my 9 year old. It is quite involved to make, so an adult could do with being there to help, but the model itself is really good quality and very big!! He loved it and I think he might just be getting another for his birthday next year!

Hours of fun, but a bit tricky for the younger ones
My son and I enjoyed making this model and over all it is good value for money. When it is made it is surprisingly big and robust. My son plays with this when ever I achieve for the "How to train your dragon" books. I would say that the model is a little bit difficult to manage with one pair of hands and the instructions could be better, but over all it was fun to build together and has lasted longer than some of the other birthday presents.

Great product not easy though
I thought these were a great idea for my 8 and 10 year old sons since they love using Nerf guns I thought this would be creativity with a gun and kill a couple of hours in the school holidays with my help. My help it was but for the whole thing! 8 year old enjoyed finding the right pieces and loading the gun and using it but it was quite complicated so definitely 80% adult led! Took hours and hours!

Patience is a virtue with this one!!!😬
We bought this for our grandson aged 6, obviously expecting to assemble it for him as the age on the box is 8. I don't know who decided that an 8 year old is a capable of putting this together but to say that this is somewhat optimistic is an understatement! It took two adults many hours to assemble the dragon, one pair of hands was definitely not enough. The instructions were fine but the amount of dexterity required to hold up to four pieces together with the holes lined up and then rivet them together was a nightmare! The finished product is fine but I won't be buying any more of these kits.

Great Fun
Got as a last minute stocking filler for Christmas but has only just recently been opened. My 9 year old had great fun doing it and is now saving up to get other Rivetz models. Yes I had to help him but only because it needed an extra pair of hands to hold in place while he put the "rivet" in.

end result looks great hanging from our ceiling
quite tricky for an 8 year old as you need to hold lots of bits, so is often a 2 man (or mum in my case) job! end result looks great hanging from our ceiling.

Very Very Fiddley!
Naff!Looks good however I bought this for my 9 year old son who loves making things & can follow instructions quite well. This is very complicated & it needed an adult to complete, my son got bored as he was unable to help much as it was so fiddley. Its rated unsuitable for under 8 year olds however it should be suitable for 18+ & someone a lot of patience. My son was very unimpressed as he wasn't involved enough & took too long (3 days!)Looks good when eventually done.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
