Display ports not working
The USB and LAN ports worked, but neither display port worked.

Unstable HDMI output
I bought this for use with a Dell XPS 13 9370. Ethernet connection & USB ports all work as they should so no complaints there. However the HDMI/VGA output only works sometimes, often requiring multiple remove/insert cycles before the HDMI output works correctly and the laptop finally recognised the external monitor. This can be very frustrating.Both the laptop are brand new and fault free, so I strongly suspect that the dongle may be to blame. I might have a defective unit, but cannot recommend it if you need the HDMI output.

This works perfectly for me!
I use this to make sure I can connect to the majority of AV connections in presentation spaces I have to work in. It NEVER lets me down and even got one presenter connected to an HDMI display that his Apple original adapter wouldn't recognise!

Does the job but VGA port sloppy
Does what it says it will do. For the price, however, screw threads to secure the VGA connector would have scored full marks. An elastic band to snuggly hold the VGA cable against the adapter is my bandaid solution.

Took ages to arrive but it's worth it. The only thing is that no power is delivered to the USB ports so you cannot charge items connected.

POOR QUALITY
Terrible terrible quality. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.The vga plug was not in place when the product arrived which is fine as I could still fix it myself.The worst part comes from the fact that everything moves inside this box which means that my screen gets disconnected as well as my ethernet cable AND the USB charging port.What a poor poor flawded make. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.---The product is pluged behing my Dell screen and is very stable. The product is used with a 2017 macbook pro.

Poorly manufactured
Strong metalluic case protects item but is misaligned with video port, so that RS232 plug cannot be inserted. So expensive for an item that doesn't actually do the job.
