My husband and I bought this for our 12 year old son. It was easy to unbox. Charging is decently fast, but the battery doesn't last too long. It works for my son because he likes short lived activities, but for someone who plans to spend time traveling further distance than a mile or so, I recommend a hoverboard that is a bit more powerful and holds more battery than mentioned in the specs for this product. I still give a five star because it works for my son and doesn't inconvenience him.

It worked good at first, for like a week, perfect speed, but it did die quickly and took longer than most hoverboards to charge. then my daughter was riding it and it died her and the hoverboard fell foward, after that it didn’t work ever again.

My niece is absolutely obsessed with this hoverboard! She picked it up so quickly and now rides it everywhere around the house. The LED lights make her feel super cool and the balance is really smooth for beginners. Great build quality that feels safe and sturdy. She shows it off to all her friends and has so much fun cruising around. Best gift I ever got her!

Charging cable is comically cheap, fragile and hard to use with only the tiniest of lights to indicate whether charging is working or completed. Almost surely this will eventually break and it's a proprietary connector, not USB or anything clever. Charging is also very slow through this super thin wire. Also the unit has a strong smell, almost like gasoline when new and it's been a day and it hasn't fully dissipated yet.Otherwise this is perfect. Stable, plenty for a child to learn. Plenty fast too. Well made except for the charger. I'm sure we will be upgrading to something more thoughtfully engineered, but you get what you pay for..

Bought it as a gift for my 5 year old daughter - she already had one last year but it got broken, so she asked Santa for another one this year again. It's a great hoverboard, she loves using it! The side is a standard size I believe but it doesn't matter since anyone can ride it. I ride it myself just fine as well (not as great as she does though, her balancing skills are definitely better).

We purchased this for a Christmas present in December 2023, It has not been used much, mainly as the charge has never seemed to last. Recently we decided to use it again, My son bought the Hover-1 Buggy Attachment for Transforming Hoverboard so that he could use it in a more fun way, he saved up and spent a further $59.99 to purchase this, it arrived this week. We set it up and when using the hoverboard it will run for about 15 seconds before the battery needs charging again. This is after multiple overnight full charges. This really shouldn't happen to something less than a year old that's hardly been used, and it's more frustrating that we bought an accessory for almost the same price and it's unusable and has left him really upset. We have tried contacting customer support, apparently they are experiencing high volumes of calls and refer to a website, I submitted a ticket and that also indicated a high volume and responses will be delayed. Seems sketchy to me. At this time, I would avoid this product and not waste your money, I will update if things turn out positive from customer support. But nobody answering phones is a warning sign right there.UPDATE: the company would not accept any responsibility or offer any support or replacement parts. Avoid this product.

Excellent!!! My 9yr old really wanted this for his birthday and even though he is a beginner he took right off! Even my four-year-old daughter was able to do it easily! The board makes it super easy for beginners to balance. They love it!
