**Update. Kawaya got in touch with me following this review and offered to send out a replacement set, which arrived within a few days. The new set of lights are up and working perfectly! I'm really impressed with the customer service I have received. I did look at how to contact the company prior to writing the review but couldn't find an option for this. Thank you Kawaya!**I bought two sets of these lights, but unfortunately one of the sets of lights appear to be faulty. They appear to charge correctly from the usb-c; the light starts off red and changes to green after fully charged. However, once I remove the charger the green light goes off and when I press the ON button, nothing happens and I've had no working lights from this set at all. I've also tried charging via the solar panel, but still not working :-(The second set however work perfectly and give a beautiful light :-)Really disappointing as the return window has now closed while I've been waiting for some decent weather to put them up!

Bought these lights when on offer. Lights looked beautiful and appeared to be of good quality for the reasonable price. They worked initially for the first couple of weeks but stopped working and have not worked since. Disappointed.

Had the lights installed outside on our terrace and they created a really nice atmosphere thanks to their warm glow. Worked really well until eventually the product broke down after less than 4 months in use, despite the manufacturers described lifetime span of at least a year at 8 hours a day. Amazon doesn't replace a product after more than 30 days and the manufacturer cannot be contacted to ask for a replacement, which is quite disappointing.Edit: The seller helpfully reached out to me following the review and provided new lights very swiftly. I connected the new solar power station to the old lights, which were then working again and still do so after more than a year. The issue might have been moisture leaking into the old solar power station, so if possible I would advise to place it somewhere protected from rain, to increase the lifespan.

Love them, they are pretty and near perfect for my gazebo. It’s always difficult finding exactly the right ones for each new sized item but they are so easy to hang because of the fitting of a neat little hole to use hangers, string or zip ties to hook each bulb in place. Or they can be draped any way they fit.The best thing for me is that the panel can be charged away from the lights if they are not in a sunny as inside my 2x2 metre gazebo and also in inclement weather conditions can be charged by USB, a game changer for me. The price is excellent for such great quality.,

The seller has been great to communicate and provide us with a set of lights that look amazing. The bulbs have a nice glow that really elevates the athomosphere in the garden. They can be charged using usb and solar and feel a good quality.

There is no remote control or timer function!I bought these and when they arrived I carefully read the instructions and the information on the box. Despite the green light coming on at the back the lights didn't come on. In the 'Troubleshooting' section of the 'User Manual' it says 'Make sure the wall switch and circuit breaker are on'?!?! On discussing this with a friends they indicated that there is a light sensor in this item so the lights only come on when it is dark. The only way to check whether the item is really working is to cover the solar panel to simulate darkness. I re-read the instructions and the box and there really is no indication that this light sensor is installed.On reading the Amazon product description I see that it does say 'solar outdoor lights builted with light sensor which control the lights automatically to turn on at night and off at dawn.'At the moment the lights look OK, but I am a little concerned that the 'User Manual' says that the panel will only work for 350 charge cycles - that's less than a year if they are left on all the time. Doesn't sound much and the Amazon description says "Eco-light lowers electric bills and lasts for years." The box says life: 1 year - based on 8 hours/day - I don't think that implies that it 'lasts for years'.The Amazon description says "Average life: 30,000 hours" - that sounds like just over 10 years 'based on 8 hours/day'. I suspect that all these numbers are just made up.Given the numbers, it looks like these items use just under 9kWh per year (assuming that you want them on for 8 hours every day), which with electricity at 30p per kWh will save you £2.70 per year. This is not the most cost effective way of lowering your electricity bill.

Easy to set up and as it was early on in a sunny day there was no need to pre-charge the solar panel. Box mounted on the side of the shed to maximize exposure to as much sunlight as possible during the day and the lights have been strung just under the eaves of the shed so not exposed to the worst of the weather. They stay bright all night even in the current short daylight hours of November. Nice yellow glow rather than a more harsh white light so more towards decorative than illuminating. Liked them so much I'll be ordering another set to go on the house extension.

These lightbulbs looked very nice and worked for the first few months (July to October).We then thought they stopped working because of the winter months, it it’s now May - and they do not switch on at all.We have charged them with a power bank and the green light is on… but the lights are not coming on.No way to contact the vendors either
