Black Foam Tape Roll, Double Sided Sponge Mounting Adhesive Tapes for Automotive Grade Number Plates Cars Trims, 25mm x 10m

I purchased this tape to carry out a repair to some trim on my front bumper. I wanted a dry warmish day to do it properly but that just isn’t happening so using a little piece of this tape I managed a temporary repair. I wiped the area dry then cleaned it with methylated spirit cut an inch of tape and as you can see below the trim is being held in place. I had to do this so quickly that I didn’t take a before picture as a result I hope you will take my word for the fact that right side (where you can see it is perished) was hanging off. I can also think of a few other jobs that will be making an aquaintance with is tape. This is sticky stuff so if you are going to do it correctly i.e. by removing the piece of trim, taping it and replacing, make sure you get it in the right place. Great stuff and enough to last a while so it’s a good idea to keep it in its original packet.

Very sticky! Just cut to size. I used it on things outside and the weather hasn't affected it

Was supposed to be good for sticking on number plates. I put plenty on, first trip out I came home without a number plate.

not as sticky as advertised IMHO. I am cetainly not going to try it on my number plates which is thew reason I bought it.

The adhesion was not very good plate fell off in the sun
