A gamers dream headset.
Best headset I've ever had. Worth ever penny. Great quality build and the sound is absolutely amazing. It is the only headset I've ever owned where I had to lower the volume. The ability to change out the batteries is a game changer. And the equalizer option are fantastic. The only one thing I would change is the mute button. On my headset it can be a bit tricky as it gets stuck from time to time, but it might just be my unit, I'm not sure. Either way this gaming headset is incredible. 10 out of 10

Best Headset I have owned.
Best headset for gaming and work. I have owned Sony's, Corsair , and used Airpods for work. These are hands down the best. NOTE: I use these minimum 4 hours per day with work, audio books/music, or gaming. Purchased Feb 2023. Writing this Aug 2023. Pros: This headset comes with an external device that charges you extra battery AND allows for Two audio inputs. The 2 audio inputs I use to have my work and gaming laptop plugged in at once so its two clicks to switch over to the other computer You can get PC sound and Bluetooth sound at the same time. I often will game and listen to an audio book on my phone. Boom mic is great for work calls and discord conversations, allows you to mute whenever. Having two batteries make it a quick swap to continue gaming and not have to wait to use the headset. Comes with steelseries software that enhances any gaming experience and allows you to customize your sound. Range of Bluetooth and PC connection is good, does have a max but I can go through out most the house with out losing connection. Headset is comfy, wear it most the day without too much irritation. Cons: Noise canceling could be better. Expensive. I hesitated buying them for over a year, they never go on sale. Wish I would have bought them earlier, 100% worth it for me.

Pretty much the perfect headset
So far, I love this headset. Its everything I was hoping for in a wireless headset. Battery life is quite good, super light, very comfy to wear and the sound quality is fantastic enough for me. The range goes pretty far, im able to walk across my entire house without losing signal until I go to the furthest point. Ill update my review as I go but so far so good. The only small complaint I have is that for some reason if you have a 2.4ghz wifi enabled it will sometimes interfere with the signal between the dac/headset. This was remedied by just going into your router settings and turning off the 2.4 network. No interference after that, however this could be a down side for someone in a home that relies on 2.4 like some security systems or older electronics do.

Steelseries is an L
The headset itself is okay but for the price you really would expect better. However the bigger issue is quality control and steel series customer service is a joke. Could not get it to connect to pc until I tried the other cord. Turns out I was sent a unit with a faulty cord. Should have known because one cord arrived with a bread tie around it. It was the broken cord. It was probably returned due to the same issue they tried it with one cord and never checked anything else. Whats even worse is the horrible anc nubs that stab the insides of your ear. Its incredibly uncomfortable for a such an expensive headset. The solution customer service gave me was to buy a new cord on amazon. Guess it makes sense since you have to spend extra already on after market pads in order to even use the product!!! Pathetic company. Have used steel series for years and had 4 headsets with them. I will be returning this item and never using them again. Going to a company that doesn't treat their customers like crap. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!

Great headset, but with one (solvable) problem...
This headset is pretty much exactly as I hoped for. I bought it based on a recommendation from RTINGS.com but I'd heard good things from other sources as well. The headband is fantastic and should feel great on nearly everyone. Sound quality is at least on par with my previous Astro A50 Wireless Gen 4, but this is a closed-back headphone so you're much more isolated from outside noise, which is ideal for most gaming scenarios. Swappable batteries, a highly configurable base station with a big volume knob (also on the headset itself), and good wireless range are all strong points. The fact that it's Discord Certified is a nice value-add, everything sounds and works great in voice chats with zero configuration. Active noise cancellation is present, but it is quite light and is only enough to effectively drown out low noises like an air purifier. Where this falls flat for me is that the hard internal plastic parts inside the ear cups press against my ears. This causes pain after just a few minutes, requiring constant readjustment to relieve! The included pads simply aren't thick enough. Fortunately there are replacement pads here on Amazon made for this headset, and they are made thicker to prevent this problem! So that is great, but considering how expensive this product is, another purchase shouldn't be required to solve this clear design flaw. I would happily recommend this headset, but ONLY if you want a fantastic all-rounder with all the bells and whistles, and the price you'll pay to get there isn't a concern.
