Oceanic Tarot: Includes a full deck of specially commissioned tarot cards and a 64-page illustrated book

I bought this deck a few years back because I was immediately drawn to them. The cards are sturdy & great quality...sadly not sturdy enough to endure the teeth & hands of a two year old who chewed on a few & bent another few *Sigh*...Note to any parent of a toddler who is buying these: Make sure you don't have the audacity to think you can leave them sitting while you go pop the kettle on! Anyhoo, I love these cards so much that I am now buying another deck so I can replace the chewed & bent ones & also have back ups for the others if anything untoward should happen to the survivors of the last deck. You won't be disappointed buying these, the book is wonderful for any beginners & each card comes with a word at the bottom so your intuition can also give your own meaning to each card. The book gives clear instructions on layouts for readings, whether that be for yourself or others. It does lean more towards the positive side of things, so even the more "negative" cards have an helpful insight to give them a more positive spin. It's absolutely not a dealbreaker though, it adds to the charm of this deck.

This deck is beautiful ! And the information very accurate. I resonate deeply with this deck. I am blessed to know the artist, Jane Delaford Taylor who is a lovely and talented woman. I have an original painting of hers which is featured in the Metatron Oracle Deck (another must have deck!) and is a project between Jane and Amanda Ellis. And have another original commissioned as well ! The Oceanic Tarot written by Jane Wallace and illustrated by Jane Delaford Taylor is truly a wonderful deck to have !!

I LOVE Mermaids and the art work for this deck is beautiful with attractive characters for all the Mer-people! I give 4 stars though as only the 22 Majors are fully illustrated and not the pip cards. However, all 78 cards have a keyword to spark the intuition, so can be used as a beginner deck along with the booklet. Nicely packaged, would make a great gift and the booklet is clear and easy to understand.

Anyone who knows about tarot cards will tell you, it is not a good idea to buy them for yourself. My friend did buy these for herself, when my fiancé told her this is not a good idea we took the cards from her as a gift and replaced them with the same off amazon. My fiancé has used the cards and is very impressed with them. For beginners there is a hand booklet with the cards to explain card meanings and how to lay them out. If you are new to tarot card reading 1, get someone to buy them on your behalf to make sure they work, sounds odd but it’s important, 2, keep your cards in a box or bag when not in use to hold there energies. 3, carry your cards around with you on your person to charge the personnel energy into them, again sounds odd but it works.

Beautiful deck for both readings for others and for a one card a day guidance for yourself , reading the guide book makes it easy to use them for novices and experienced readers alike , beautifully illustrated , heartfelt meanings and interpretations of each card that makes it equally easy to use your own intuition ,so good I've bought three decks for friends ,would deffinately recommend this deck

These cards are exceptionally beautiful and really speak to me! I have used many different tarot decks, but these will become a classic, no doubt. They work on every level and the booklet is so clear and simple, which makes them perfect for beginners, aswell as advanced readers.Have just ordered two more sets for friends, as Christmas presents and feel sure they will love them too.

Un bellissimo mazzo , facile da usare e pieno di positività. Nel libretto non ci sono i significati delle carte al rovescio ma esclusivamente spiegazioni in ottica evolutiva , a mio parere il miglior approccio per una lettura di tarocchi. Apprezzo anche il fatto che negli arcani minori sia riportata la numerazione basica senza troppi arricchimenti che ritengo sviino da una vera interpretazione tarologica. Ottimo il packaging! Consiglio !

Puntos positivos:1 El empaque y el libro son hermosos y se toman la molestia de incluir instrucciones y explicaciones sobre los arcanos en el librito. Realmente es una belleza.2 La impresión es impecable, se sienten bien al barajarse.3 En general el costo corresponde a la calidad.4 Cada carta tienen una palabra clave que puede ayudar a los principiantes a identificar los significados de cada una junto con el nombre del arcano.Puntos negativos:1 Otros decks tienen una ilustración original por cada arcano, no es así en este caso, aquí únicamente los arcanos mayores, la reina y el rey, los caballeros y los pages están ilustrados, me molestó bastante que los demás estuvieran representados con literalmente 4 copas, o 4 espadas o 4 bastos. Eso es lo que a mi gusto le restó puntos.2 La ilustración de la parte trasera de las cartas hace identificable cuando se encuentran en posición normal o en reversa, si lees las cartas con posiciones inversas esto puede ser muy incómodo.En general es una buena compra, ojalá en próximas ediciones puedan corregir los puntos negativos.
