Thrustmaster Y-350X 7.1 Powered Doom Edition Gaming Headset (Xbox One/PC DVD)

Lightweight yet sturdy and comfortable to wear. A good range of frequencies, from the thunderous base right up to very faint, subtle sounds. I can hear details when playing games on Xbox that I couldn't before. The 7.1 is good in games but best turned off for watching movies, YouTube videos, etc. Very happy with purchase.

Just a mediocre headset at the most ..7.1 is a joke,pushing that button just aplifies the sound and boosts the bass.This headset underdeliveres A LOOT. 4 that price is a big NO NO. It says in description ,,OVER BOOSTED BASS,, That is all that you get..

2nd pair buzzing noises and keep cutting out when talking , not a good buy

Was happy to buy a pair of these but im now really disappointed with this purchase. They worked fine for a few weeks but for some reason the sound is really choppy and that's if the work at all. I've had them just under the 2 month mark and therefore missed my window to return them.Never had a problem with any previous purchases on Amazon (and I use Amazon regularly) but this has knocked my confidence for buying any electrical goods in the future.Overall the sound quality was amazing but sadly the life expectancy wasn't

Worked since 28 May, now its October. I hope to contact Thrustmaster soon.Had potential to be a good headset. Needs a different design. It is heavy, the cups don't cover my ears completely. Oval would be good. The amplifier is heavy and this pulls the cable from the left hand cup.Therefore the cable to the amp is pulled too much.I have 2 flaws on the 3.5mm cable from the headset, its loose under the cup and at the jack.The amp needs a mini USB charge to the Xbox, and the cable is very short.Expect to sit close to your Xbox One. This needs a redesign, it is not worth this amount of money. I expect better.

Whilst clearly aimed towards the gaming XBOX market, this headset also produces an acceptable audio quality (slightly muffled) for music as well, so could double up for both requirements. The bass is perfectly good for gaming but this is very slightly lacking for music across a variety of genres.Gaming sounds are well defined and, even during fairly prolonged play (we go at least three hours each time here), the headset remains comfortable even if the wearer has glasses. Sound is well-contained so that disturbance to others is kept to a minimum and outside noise is also much subdued to the wearer (I couldn’t hear someone enter the room whilst I was playing), so you are unlikely to be distracted at a key moment in the game.Charging time is good at around 4 hours (the light on the power pack goes out when a full charge is achieved) and trailing cable distraction is minimal as the headset plugs straight into the handset, so you are not constrained by a cable to the console either. I recharge after each use to ensure the headset is ready for next use.For their primary purpose of gaming, these are very good. They are also acceptable for music, so offer a good all round solution.

Not worth it at all the wire 2 power pack from headset messing up keep making my mic sqeak wire faulty even tho i look after my possessions also voice and hearing others messing up was at first very happy now im not sure as having trouble hearing and speaking not a gr8 build quality at all
