These are a hoot! They are EASY to place and will NOT be easily removed. So easy to use ... great for the shower and the sliding door to the back yard just to get some fresh air into the house. Yet they provide EXCELLENT security. For sliding doors and windows, of course, you want no up/down movement of the door or window, you want a sliding pin that locks into the window base, a standard lock, AND THIS BABY! That's a 4-way locking system. So window breakage is the only way to bypass it. Be sure to place the "holster" nearby in an accessible location for when you want to open the door/window beyond the three or so inches provided by this device. This product is a real winner!

It does lock the windows pretty good. Make sure to clean your windows very well before sticking the metal thing to them otherwise, it won't stick correctly. My only complaint is that the small part that holds the slide thing (not the metal one, the other one that goes on the wall) does not have good quality adhesive, so don't be surprised if it falls.

Work great, maybe because it's impossible to remove if you move out! Broke our window in our rental house just now and I'm so pissed that I bought these. Now we have to pay hundreds to get this window fixed and I can't remove any of them from the rest of the house! Garbage!

Extra piece of mind. Used in conjunction with factory window locks. Nice idea to leave the window open a hair and still have a lock.They are very similar to a show case lock. Extra piece to hang the lock on when it’s removed is nice.They claim 300lb of protection on a push. I’m not sure about that, but nice to have. Even as a visual deterrent

Love these. So easy to install and use. They won't prevent a bad guy from breaking a window to enter a home, but they add another level of deterrence. I have 4-panel sliding glass doors and I figured out a way to use 3 of these locks on them to ensure only one panel could be opened 3 to 5 inches.

I really love the added security these provide. I feel a little better about being home alone so often when my husband is out of town. So easy to install just give it some thought first and make sure you put them where you want them the first time.

Very easy to install and based on my strength can't get the windows open. I have then on all my windows.

I used these to secure a couple of windows with ACs in them. Once attached to the window, they are very strong. The only way to get them off from outside the house would be to break the glass, so they're just as effective as the actual lock. They were simple to install.
