A really great quality and useful book for composers.The best things about it are the writing paper for the lyrics and the manuscript paper opposite and the great quality of the paper.

My 6-year old needed a "music notebook" for her violin lessons. Thought I would treat her to something nicer than the usual scrap notebook. What a treat this lovely book is: hardback, with alternate manuscript / plain lined paper, and a lovely band to tie it shut so you can keep extra notes, leaflets, cuttings. We can now write out some of the music from a particular week's lesson, which really helps make music practice more challenging and fun. If this doesn't inspire budding composers, nothing will!

Loved it perfect

This is a beautiful book with high quality paper. Very minimal ghosting and no bleed through at all when I use my fountain pen. Elastic could perhaps be a little firmer, but it's more than enough for me, as I don't tend to tuck extra things in between the pages. Well worth the money, I'd say.

Having a stave one side and lined paper the other is so useful, and now I don't think I could write music without it. The book also has a small pocket at the back which I have been storing tickets from when I have seen bands etc in.The elastic holding the book is strong and shows no sign of becoming weak, the book is well made, and looks nice. It was realtively inexpensive too.

Just the right size for any musical sketches and written notes. The paper is of outstanding quality, allowing writing with a fountain pen and little or no bleed through. The colour of the paper is similar to manuscript paper that you used to get, slightly yellow/cream, so its easy on the eye. The left side has ruled lines for any ideas and the right side has 8 music staves.

Bought as a Christmas gift, I was looking for something personal and unusual. The receipient has recently taken up piano and joined a local choir, so I thought this fitted the bill perfectly. The notebook has lined pages on one side and blank musical score sheets on the other - exactly what is needed when taking notes during lessons. The paper is cream and overall I liked the look and feel of the notebook.

i’m a music student and this notebook is PERFECT for taking notes in music theory! it’s also great for writing down charts, chord progressions, and lyrics for new songs i need to learn!the quality is great- especially given the price! highlighter/ marker BARLEY bleeds through the paperi was bouncing between a few manuscript/lined notebook options and i’m so glad i went with this product! i will definitely repurchase when i run out of room!
