Hei Poa Traditional Monoi Oil (Coconut)

This has a heavenly coconut scent and it pure oil. If you put it on right before bed, it makes your bed smell lovely too. And like any oil, a little goes a long way, so this lasts for a good long while. It's not easy to get (in London), so thankfully you can buy it online. Beware: in cold weather this will solidify. And if your bathroom is cold, you may have to prewarm it in your hands or in a bowl of warm water. We live in a well-insulated, always warm flat and our bathroom is windowless so apart from when it's first delivered, it's always liquidy for us.

The vanilla is better scent wise. Other than that..amazing as ever. This oil won a place in my house

I haven't purchased this specific Monoi Oil - but reading the reviews, there is one in particular, which says the oil is more like a 'cream'. I'd have to say to people thinking about purchasing the oil, don't let that put you off. The likely case there is that the person who left that review has absolutely no idea about oils (coconut style oils, especially) and their solidity at various temperatures. This oil often does solidify when not warm, but this is very easily rectified by sitting the bottle in a cup/jar of warm or hot water. It's just the nature of the oil. Other than that - Monoi oil in general is one of my most favourite, and it smells so lovely and exotic, which is a bonus since it acts as a moisturiser and a fragrance all in one, whilst being a natural product. I highly recommend it.

Tiny little bottles (quite good for holidays, i guess), beautiful smelling product that really does my skin and hair super soft. It also arrived much quicker than I would have thought, given they had to be shipped from abroad. Unfortunately though they both (I ordered 2) arrived with damaged lids - dissappointing as it means I cant' take them anywhere.

Too oily even after wash out. My hair wouldnt style properly / also made my hair dull

Unless you live in a warm country, this stays solid in bottle and needs warming up to pour, so in UK for example it's solid. Smells a bit chemically to me too, not as natural as I would expect, doesn't smell that great

Bonne hydratation sur le corps, parfum léger mais agréable. Essayé sur les cheveux avant shampoing, il les rend souple et brillant. Adepte des produits bio notamment la marque weleda, les produits hei poa me permettent de changer a moindre coup. Après avoir essayé : tiaré, coco et dernièrement: fangipanier, je pense commander celui au pamplemousse, pour le printemps ce produit me semble adapté. De plus le pamplemousse est un ingrédient minceur et anticellulite.

Benutze Monoi als Bartöl, und kann nur sagen es riecht super , pflegt einwandfrei und schützt den Bart auch super wenn man diesen mit dem Fön in die richtige Richtung bringt. Es ist bei Zimmertemperatur ziemlich fest. Ich lasse vorher warmes Wasser am Waschbecken drüber laufen dann wirds flüssig. Ansonsten kurz in der Hand zwei dreimal hin und her dann ist es schon flüssig. Es hält wohl EWIG. PreisLeistung wirklich top !

Works great on dry hair. Smells like coconut, not perfumed. Just wish it didn't take so long to arrive. Order well in advance of when you need it. Highly recommend. * Just went to reorder and price has doubled!!!! Why?
