DSTE® Pro IR Remote MB-D16 Vertical Battery Grip for Nikon D750 SLR Digital Camera as EN-EL15

I have had this for 3 months now and used it all the time on my camera so I felt it was time to comment. I upgraded from a D600 where I had OEM MB-d14 to D750. I could not justify £230 on the original so researched a bit and the DSTE came with good reviews. From the box I put a battery in and attached it to the camera. Fit is very good with a hardly noticeable amount of flexion when you try hard to flex it. Buttons all functioned as they should and if anything the shutter button is even better than the one on the camera with a light first stage pressure and a smooth firmer pressure to take the exposure. Buttons are assignable from the in camera menu just like the original. Plus you get a handy remote thrown in too. It looks match the camera and the only thing missing is the gasket around the battery compartment. It feels good to use but only lacks the feel of the rock like quality of the metal Nikon version. In use it works perfectly and adds balance to heavier lenses and of course, in using the camera in portrait orientation, which is what it is designed for. I would unreservedly recommend this grip over the Nikon and save £200 to boot. It is when all said and done a tube to hold a battery with a few buttons on it that has all the functionality of the original and few drawbacks from the original for 15% of the price!. Am now putting the money saved into some more glass. If you must have a Nikon grip go ahead. Me, I will be out using it with a new lens expanding my photography.

Excellent quality relative to the price. Arrived a day early too. A tiny bit dissapointing that I can't use back button focusing using the grip button, but not a deal breaker because if you consider vertical grips are used more for static subjects anyway, it's not a massive problem. I just used mine for a recent baby shoot and it worked flawlessly and the camera feels economically much better for hand holding. Highly recommended 👌

This product is simply the best quality, in past 6 months I went through 3 different after market replacement for MBD16. and they all had one or many problems. But this DSTE version is just perfect, identical to nikon's original in every way just £200 cheaper and it comes with a remote which is very handy at times. For £39 what you get is top quality battery grip, it feels very secure and sturdy perfect colour match to the camera and fits perfectly with my D750. Bottom line I'll recommend this to all Nikon D750 owners.

I have only used this grip once, but the fit was very firm, it felt very comfortable to hold and it worked perfectly, as described. For the money it is good value and justified not spending a few hundred pounds on a genuine Nikon grip.

I’ve bought a couple of 3rd party grips over the years from other suppliers. This one is by far the best and compares favorably with the Nikon version.Have used it for the last month or so and have been impressed. The only minor issue has been with the paddle/button for moving the focus point. Can be a little fidgety when moving the focus point out of the centre position. Just took a little getting used to, but for something that cost a fraction of Nikons, frankly, overpriced grips you can’t really complain. Everything else has worked as advertised. Definitely recommend this grip for anyone using a Nikon D750 if you don’t want to shell out for OEM grip 🤙🏻🤙🏻

So far so good. Attached to the camera like glue with no visible movement and the look of the grip blends in perfectly. Trigger and focus button work well too.I couldn’t afford the Nikon grip so I’m really happy with this one.

Works brilliantly and so much cheaper than the Nikon version. Do they ever sell any?

Funciona perfectamente en mi Nikon D750. Los botones tienen calidad y los materiales son de calidad.Una cosa que me preocupaba el principio (y que encontré en algún comentario) es la disociación de enfoque para el botón AE-L como AF-ON: No encontraba cómo configurarlo, pero se puede hacer sin problema... MENU CFG PERSONALIZADA/Controles/f10Asig botón AE-L de MB-D16Lo he configurado y va perfecto, al igual que en el cuerpo... ¡Todo se puede programar!

Combacia perfettamente, comandi precisi, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. L'ho appena installato e non ho avuto ancora modo di provare il telecomando.

j'ai dejà un grip batterie de la marque pour un autre boitier. C'est serieux, ça fonctionne bien.Petit plus, bien que les modèles soient différents : la télécommande fonctionne avec mes 2 grips et peut déclancher mes 2 boitiers simultanément : c'est génial .
