Fit my STANDARD sized Kohler drain, but not my aftermarket deep drain w/plastic threads
This fit from the top or the bottom, to keep the drain from turning when installing. Not sure why others had a problem "not fitting." I used this on my kitchen sink. I probably won't ever need it again, but it's here just in case I do.3 days later, I saw, because amazon pushed to me through advertising, a deeper drain that I will probably prefer. This wrench WILL be used again so I am glad I have it. Looks like I may be a pro by the end of the year if this keeps up. After receiving my new deep drain, this wrench does NOT fit it. My new drain has plastic threads and a plastic nut so if this is the type of drain you have, this will not work for that. I do not know if they make a wrench compatible with the plastic deep drains.After looking at SEVERAL similar wrenches, I chose this because the bar could be placed into either end as opposed to the center of the wrench. This helps you hold it and provide resistance getting a better grip on it. Good choice and I have no complaints.

It’s cheap for a reason and you probably will have to cut your sink drain retaining piece off anyway

Does not fit most baskets.
Nice quality tool, but it does not fit any of the standard sink baskets with two holes.

Very helpful tool.
It works as it should and made getting the connections off, on and tightened much faster and easier.

Does not fit. Improper die cut.
Bought it to loosen a 2 1/2" flange. The wrench was too small, cut at an incorrect angle, at the tip to fit. If want to use it I will have file or grind the wrench to make it work. Else I will need to buy another wrench and hope it works. I may be able to use for some other job in the future so I will keep it; not worth the time processing a return.

was able to open a stuck sink drain that other wrench could not
I had difficulties unscrewing a kitchen sink drain as it was leaking and let the dirty liquid glue the parts together. I could not open with several pliers blocking the drain hole and another cross shape tool. I did not have any issue with this tool.
