If you are buying coasters to protect your wood furniture from water marks, condensation, etc., then DO NOT purchase these coasters! They have a sticky film on the bottom that transferred to my coffee and end tables. Now, I have a ring of sticky film that I cannot get off my furniture!

This is a picture from my grandmothers old stereo cabinet which she kept meticulously for 50+ years. This coaster never had a drink on it. I kept three stacked so no one would put a drink on the cabinet itself. I had a different problem on my Pottery Barn desk. It left a shiny film that doesn't come off. This one was used for both coffee and cold drinks.This is a terrible product that wrecked two pieces of furniture. If anyone can recommend a way to remove the gummy mess that this thing left I'd appreciate the advice. It seems to have eaten in to the finish.

It's waterproof and keeps liquid off the table. It's a coaster, what do you want.The sales team is irritating - I keep getting faux-friendly and overly chipper emails from them. I thought the other reviewer(s) had it wrong when they said it could mar a wood finish. I thought they must have used it upside-down. But they're right. I've used them for a coffee cup and bottled water and not had them long. The other day I went to polish the kitchen table and I could see the dimpled imprint from the top side has transferred through the flat side to the tabletop. Not sure how or if I can get it off. See photo. The marring is just above the 4 light reflections. And no, I did not use the coaster upside-down. The smooth flat side goes down and the nub/rim side goes up to catch a drink's condensation.Would not buy again.

I got these because they looked like some PERFECT coasters I got from pottery barn many many years ago that I love.. these are very different.. these seem to be made from the same type of rubber I would imagine a Halloween face mask or rubber nose would be made of.. the bottom of the coaster is not finished like the rest of it.. the bottom is a very shiny black rubber with unfinished edges and if you want to move it across a table.. well, good luck with that.. you have to peel it off the table and then put back down where you want it. I ordered 2 sets and have thrown both away. I was sooo irritated with the poor quality of these that I didn’t even want to have to deal with sending them back.. they belong in the trash.

These are nice (bright red) coasters than have plenty of room for large glasses or mugs. The "bumps" help keep condensation from sticking & picking up the coaster. The one drawback I have found is that once these coasters are down on a table or countertop, it takes a fair amount of effort to change their position (with your cup removed first, of course). But, if you really want your coaster to NOT slide around, this would not be a drawback for you. Also, very easy to clean.

We are pleased with these coasters. The color is good, they are very durable, and you receive 6 coasters instead of the 4 that most manufacturers offer. The only thing is that I wouldn’t say that they “absorb” any moisture. They are not an absorbent material, but they do help pool the moisture with a small lip around the perimeter and raised dots on the top surface. We are using them outdoors and they are perfect for our needs. Just don’t expect them to absorb any moisture.

I previously had some rubber coasters and was looking to purchase more. The material on these are great but I ordered what said to be large & these barely fit a glass on them. Great for a little cup or glass, but too small for a beer mug. I added two photos so you can see the size. Maybe you'll prefer the little ones. I personally just feel these are easier for the glass to top over and they need to be wider.
