Disco Antistat Replacement Record Clamp

The Knosti system is, in my opinion, slightly better than its yellow competitor, for the simple reason that the Knosti clamp has a cup on each side of the record that covers and protects the label from getting wet.Another advantage is that, after washing, I can hold the axle between my thumb and forefinger on each side, then spin the record a few times to spin off the excess water, making the record dry faster.

I bought this and the Record clamp seperately to save a few pounds , the main reason being that I prefer to mix my own washing solution. IIt works fine , if a bit of a faff due to having to rinse off a second time to get rid on possible deposits from the isopropyl ...hence the 4 stars. Yes the centre does let in a bit of water , but never enough that the label has not dried out unaided .All in all its a neat if time consuming method of cleaning vinyl if you dont want to pay for the vacuum machines !

Not very good revision. Poorly seals the labels and deforms low weight records.An older version was more effective, probably made of better quality material.(On image is still older, more successful version)

Got this to go with the Antistat Case. Works very well. Bought all the bits separately because we didn't want the cleaning solution and it worked out cheaper.

Note that this doesn't come with rubber seals and that the seals from the generation 2 clamp do not fit. Not a bad product in itself just not exactly what I was expecting

Not good, the seal is not enough for the water to leak all over the label, this works with an after sale product that extents the seal to actually cover the label , even better I bought a glass version with a perfect seal and NO leakage, this is rather hopeless and it left tide marks my labels !
