A steamy and hilarious standalone romance from New York Times best-selling author Samantha Towle.I’m used to being in charge. In and out of the office. So, when my parents go behind my back and hire a co-CEO to help me manage my family’s business, let’s just say, I don’t take it too well.Especially not when the woman they’ve hired is the one girl who hated my guts in college. She thinks I’m an overprivileged, womanizing man-whore. I think she’s an uptight, stuck-up bitch. And, now, she’s here, in my office, telling me how to run my company.I don’t think so.It doesn’t matter that she has legs that go on for days or that I keep imagining bending her over my desk and showing her just how bossy I can be. I’ve worked my ass off and paid my dues to get to where I am, and she’s not taking it from me.No freaking way.Morgan Stickford is about to learn the hard way that Wilder Cross is the only boss around here. Review: Wild about Wilder...and wish I was Morgan lol! - Whoaaaaaa! This book was more than sizzling hot - it was scorching! I'm wild about Wilder who I am sure will take his place on the top book boyfriends list. He's unapologetically sexy. His arrogance levels are off the charts and his ego is the size of Chicago where he lives. Nevertheless, all these factors make him utterly adorable. You would expect such a character to make the reader screw up their face in disdain but not Wilder - he's too cute and has many redeeming factors. Admittedly, most of them revolve around his bedroom skills but hey, I'm not complaining. Under Her is an extremely graphic novel. Samantha Towle historically has never vied away from writing sexy stories, but she has definitely taken it up several notches with this one. The books charts the progress of the dynamic between Wilder and Morgan. Wilder is the heir to a mega successful lingerie company but his parents unexpectedly bring on board a co-CEO when they retire in the form of Morgan. Wilder and Morgan went to the same college but have not seen each other for several years during which time Morgan has morphed into the most beautiful and sexy woman Wilder has ever laid eyes on, and for a man who beds a different woman every weekend, this is saying something. The story of how Wilder seduces Morgan is highly amusing and utterly compelling. I loved it. I loved that the story is mostly told by Wilder and getting into his head while he tries to figure out why Morgan affects him so much was very entertaining. The sex was panty-melting - very appropriate considering that Under Her is a lingerie company. Even though this was a very light book compared with some of the author's other stories, I enjoyed it for just that. It was like a tonic to round off the summer holidays and perfectly pitched to titillate and tantalise without being too vulgar. Yup - loved it and definitely need more Wilder in my life! Review: Under Her will have you laughing out loud from the first few pages; it was absolutely HILARIOUS! - I absolutely adored this book, and from the moment I started reading it I could NOT put it down, and from the very first chapter I was hooked and enjoying every moment of reading Under Her. Told entirely in our male lead's POV, Wilder Cross is ready to take over as CEO of his family lingerie business, Under Her Lingerie, but he gets the rug pulled out from under him when his parents go behind his back and hires a co-CEO for him to work with. What makes this news even worse is that the new co-CEO is Morgan Stickford, the woman who despised him in college and didn't bother to hide her dislike of him to anyone. But when he does see her again, he can't help but notice how much she's changed since college, and even though he wants her gone so he can run the company by himself, he wants her in his bed and under him more. Under Her is an enemies-to-lovers, slow burn, forbidden, romantic comedy. Forbidden for the fact that Wilder, even though he's a complete manwh*re, doesn't date or sleep with his co-workers, and since Morgan is co-CEO, she's therefor a co-worker. Slow burn because Wilder instantly wants Morgan from the start, but since she's his co-worker, he's subjected to look and not touch. Enemies-to-lovers since Morgan "hated" him in college, and at the beginning of this book (and as the story goes on) both main characters butted heads a lot. And romantic comedy because this book was romantic, and it really was absolutely HILARIOUS! There were times throughout this story where both Morgan and Wilder did annoy me, and many times I cringed at Wilder's inner monologue; I also found the story to be a bit predictable, especially with what happened towards the end of the book, but besides all that - and those are my reasons for the four star rating - I did enjoy this book. It was a quick read, probably for the fact that the chapters were short, so I was pretty much flying through this book, but with the humour, the romance, and just everything that happened throughout Under Her... I adored it all, and I'm truly surprised by how hilarious this book is. If you're having a bad day and are looking for a book that'll have you laughing your head off and leave you smiling from ear to ear by the end of the story, then this is the book for you!

The brilliant Samantha Towle!! 5*+
Under Her... it's brilliant from the very first page. It's cheeky, confident, cocky and steamy and it's all Wilder Cross... he's all of those. Samantha Towle has given us some great stand alone stories and this is absolutely one of them. Morgan's always had a secret crush on Wilder but she hates him for the way he behaved towards her during college. Wilder on the other hand was totally oblivious believing Morgan didn't like him for what ever reason, so it was a bit of a love hate situation, that was a long time ago though. You can imagine his surprise when Wilder is told that Morgan will be his Co-CEO he's not happy understandably, he feels betrayed but it makes sense to bring a female onboard, with Wilder's parents retiring, the male/female partnership is important for the lingerie business to thrive. This is so funny, the night before meeting Morgan for the first time in about nine years, you might know Wilder gets himself into a situation that he could do without. He's running very late, I'm laughing but wait until he walks into the office to meet Morgan... oh dear some things never change. As the storyline continues so does Wilder's infatuation towards Megan, it gives you mixed emotions and even more so when Megan thinks back to her College days, I was waiting for her to call him out on his actions. You are kept absolutely riveted to everything that is Morgan and Wilder but when you get towards the end chapter 36 the bomb is dropped you don't expect what happens next... it's a horrible moment, especially for Morgan, nasty and hurtful words are spoken all from Wilder and you have to wonder how will their relationship ever survive this. From this point on It becomes a painful and emotional time. Wilder almost blew his chances.! Loved the epilogue... loved Under Her.!

Light reading
It isn't thebworst romance I have read, but it made me cringe too many times. I had the feeling that was written by a 17 year old girl in whattpad (and I know it isn't true, but that is the level). The main characters are quite flat, like playing only with 3 traits from the Sims (and maybe in this case, 3 seems too much sometimes). They lack depth and Maturity most part of the book. It is ok, for a trip or summer or when nothing else seems to click and you want something very light and fast. But the main character (written in first person), says something sexual 8 words out of 10. All the book. Like there is absolutely nothing else in his head. Plus, according with him, he is this God of sex, because he TELLS you all the time, but barely SHOWS it. The prototype of what a writer is told NOT to do: tell, don't show. Still, not bad bad. Just very inmature and cringy, but OK if you look for light with no development or in-depth... or you like Whattpad contemporary romances

Absolutely brilliant
Wilder’s been working in the family business his entire life and with his parent retiring he’s looking forward to running the company alone. Unfortunately for him, his parents have a different plan in mind and go behind his back, hiring Morgan Stickford to work at his side. To make matters worse, Morgan isn’t a stranger to him, she’s someone from his past, someone who hated him. He’s sure he can find a way to get rid of her; that is until he sees her. Morgan has blossomed into a beautiful woman, too bad he has a rule about sleeping with his colleagues. I think what I love most about Samantha Towle’s books is the emotion they inspire in the reader. The majority of the book is told from Wilder’s perspective but the flashbacks are told from Morgan’s and they are so sad to read. The flashbacks give you the insight Wilder is so desperately in need of and explain Morgan’s odd behaviour. We’re drip fed their history as we move through their present and while I think that can sometimes create confusion in a novel, that wasn’t the case here. In my opinion it’s really well done and enhances the reading experience, as well as explaining everything we need to know. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the protagonists and I think it’s never more apparent than when the pair visits the Hot Springs in Thailand. Their chemistry feels s natural, there’s absolutely no pretence. If there’s one complaint I have with ‘Under Her’ it’s that I didn’t want it to end. *pouts* But sadly, like all good novels must, it did. Thankfully I can re-read it and live their story over and over again if and when I want to. Profanity: Prolific Sexual content: Frequent and explicit Violence: Negligible

Fun and sexy read
I enjoyed reading this story. It was fun, sexy and a little emotional at times. The characters were all good. Morgan and Wilder met in college, there were sparks just not the good kind. Now nine years later they are brought together to be co-CEO’s of Wilders families Lingerie company.

Wild for Wilder!!
This book just brought a HUGE smile to my face. Wilder Cross.... well what can I say. He's definitely one of my favourite Samantha Towle characters to date. The guy is just the biggest man whore ever but I f@@king loved him. He has some of the best one liners I've read in a long time, I swear i may have peeded my pants a time or too. Wilder is a CEO of Under Her Lingerie. He's all business during the week but weekends he's a player. No strings or repeat performance for this guy. He's strictly love em and leave em. That's all he's after and it suits him fine. Morgan Stickford knows all about Wilder Cross she went to College with him. She hated him then with good reason. Wilder never knew or cared why at the time. Now she's a co CEO at the company and Wilder is far from happy especially when he finds out its her. It's time to play dirty this is his company and she's not welcome. I adored Morgan and admit I have a girl crush on her. She's sassy and classy with a witty side I loved too. Let's just say she isn't the pushover she was in college and Wilder has met his match in more ways than one. Absolutely fantastic book I couldn't put it down, full of sexual tension that kept me on the edge of my seat. It was funny and definitely HOTT. A fabulous feel good story that ticked all my boxes, I loved it and I'm sure you will too.

Still looking for the com part of the rom-com
I was angry on behalf of Wilder from the very start when his parents basically tell him they don't trust him to be the CEO of their company but that's never even discussed in the story he just rolls over and takes it everything about the story (if you can call it that) is flat the book is 99% Wilders pov and it's like the author has taken the easy route by making him weak and every second thought is about sex he has no depth to him at all .... really disappointing

maybe too slow?
I appreciated the fact that the book gives us almost exclusively the male pov, but then everything is too linear, we don’t get many turning points in the plot. Overall it was a nice reading

Take a walk on the Wilder side.
Great feel good story. Love the characters, they were easy to like. Yes, even Wilder with his hugely inflated ego, was likeable. Would love to read stories of Dom and Coop, especially Coop.

Fofo e hot
Ter comprado Under Her foi uma surpresa. Uma comédia romântica com hot sim e personagens com uma trama simples, mas nao apenas focada no hot e sim no relacionamento do casal principal. Indico principalmente para quem gosta de ler ponto de vista masculino.
